Robed all in black goes the Order of Black Worm, bringing wisdom to seekers who see beyond death-term, but Trechtus-now-Vanus pursues us to continent, to persecute worm-wrights his evil intent. When I was adviser to Varen Aquilarios, I once intercepted a letter to him from Galerion, warning him that I am not to be trusted.
I could have destroyed it, but instead I sent it right back with “nice try” written in the margins... along with a half-rotted rat. Galerion doesn’t merely abhor necromancy. He is delightfully squeamish about dead things.
I only wish I could have witnessed his reaction.

Everything in the hands (and feet to a lesser extent). One doesn’t quite appreciate the complexity of hands unless they have either tried to draw them or have seen every bone laid out in front of them.
Due to this complexity, hands are among the hardest parts of a reanimated corpse to control properly. It is a large step forward in the advancement of lesser necromancers when their thralls stop dropping their weapons.
