A poem I wrote for a novel I just read

Hello so as I was reading "The Savior's Champion" by @jennamoreci I started writing this poem in Tobias's (main character) for Leila. I hope you like it.

All For You

I am not a writer.

But I am an artist,

A creator nonetheless.

So I will try my hand

At this trivial task,

And hope and pray

That you'll find joy

While reading this.

I never once thought

I'd actually find love

In this hell-hole

Of a tournament.

So a Change in Plans

I have started thinking about how I want my story to work. And I have realized there is too much for one book so I'm making it a series of at least 4 novels.

I'm getting excited about this as now I don't feel like I have to find ways of cutting stuff out or squeezing it in.

The serie's title will be : Scions of Redemption

The first book's title will be: War's Path

Just a late night update

The outline is going slow but steady. Took a bit of a hiatus this last weekend as I went to Sakura Con, a convention for manga and anime. I'm planning out chapter 6 and I can say without giving too much away. This is where the mood of the story changes. Gus is starting to realize the true weight of what's going on. And I love how he is handling it. Any questions let me know. I'll answer the best I can.

A little about my novel.

Alright so I thought I’d share a little about my novel. At least the basic plot and them maybe a little bit about each main character.

The title:

Scions of Redemption

Plot:

My novel focuses on the current generation of children of the Four Horseman of the Apocalypse. These children have the opposite powers of their fathers. So the son of the Horseman of War would promote peace and so on. Soon they begin to realize their fathers are being corrupted and must find a way to stop them before the cause the apocalypse earlier than needed.

Main Characters:

Augustus: son of the Horseman of War (Ajax). He is observant, kind and fairly confident. He likes reading, drawing, and even a little writing. He hates confrontation and being one of the sons or War there’s constant conflicts and confrontation.

Loralai: daughter of the Horseman of Death (Djall).  She is shy, unconfident, and reserved due to ‘death visions’ she get. She enjoys reading, as well as drawing. She avoids people as she has noticed in the past that people she gets close to get hurt… or worse. She doesn’t know who her father is, as her mother ran away while still pregnant with her upon finding out just who Djall was…

Allopu: “son” of the Horseman of Famine (Euna), the only women of the Horseman. Non-binary, preferred pronouns are they/them. They enjoy writing poetry, designing fashion, and chilling with family and friends. They hate closed minded people, mainly their father who won’t call them anything but his son or use male pronouns.

Mahli: son of the Horseman of Pestilence (Malvolio). He is a powerhouse, but can be a pushover for those he truly cares about. He loves to go to the gym, wrestling with his brothers, and being a daredevil in general. He’s not a fan of people belittling anyone.
