ANTI-CAPITALIST AFFIRMATIONS

i am allowed to spend my time creating things, even if they are not beautiful.

there is no such thing as a "real job." all forms of work are real and valid.

there is nothing that i need to accomplish to be worthy. i am already worthy.

doing nothing is good for my soul.

i am not defined by what i produce.

my worth cannot be measured by my paycheck, my job title, or a list of professional or academic achievements.

i do not need to monetize my hobbies, it is enough to spend time doing something i love.

i will not let society decide what success looks like. i can define what successful life looks like for me.

If anyone tries to convince you that attending protests does nothing—just remember that it is COMMUNITY that you are seeking.

Your message will not spread when you're not around real-world people.

The people above you may not hear your message, but the people on your level WILL. Do it for them.

It's our apathy that's killing us, very slowly and painfully.

Attend protests. Be with people.

Step out from behind your keyboards and DO SOMETHING

Even if its printing these flyers out and posting them around your community

Print out the red cards and pass them out to everyone. Look up your specifics states resources

Protect your neighbors and colleagues and learn their rights. Be an advocate. Fight back in a way the actually does something. Some states are starting to consider bounties for reporting immigrants.

Snitches get stitches. Where are the people who are going to follow through? Who here is walking the walk?

Advocates, sound off! The more connected we are, the more we see each other, the more empowered we are.
