I miss your smile, infectious laughter, love for life. You filled me with hope about the goodness of humanity & what it looked like to have been changed by the power of the cross. You were singlehandedly the most influential person of my first semester. Yet I'm so scared I've lost you for good, all because I took a chance. The wrong chance. I shouldn't have told you how I felt. We don't talk anymore, and I miss the seconds waiting for your snapchat, the fleeting, childish happiness that ensued after your username flashed across my screen, and laughing at the silliness of your pictures. You changed me to believe in happiness & goodness. How could I ever let someone like that go, even if you already have? How could I ever let you go?
