love how beautiful and detail-oriented the sets are for wednesday. the nevermore grounds? absolutely gorgeous. the inner pentagon with the benches and tables? perfect spot for drama. the lake and the island with the crypt? absolutely fucking spooky and perfect for a show like this. wednesday and enid’s room? perfect physical manifestations of characters they’re supposed to represent. like the got the aesthetic right and executed it to perfection. but i also love how there’s nothing put into the academy as a school. it’s literally just gorgeous gowns. like uhhh the classes are: botany, fencing and... lunch? yeah that’s it. there’s a hundred events like a canoe race, outreach day, the classic dance/prom. but there is only one administrator and there is one teacher who is also a dorm mom who is also crazy and then got arrested. then the school shuts down because the principal was murdered and yeah we have no other teachers in this school. fantastic.

I keep saying this, but I’m going to say it again:

I don’t understand how people can watch the scene of Laurel gr00m1ng Tyler and still think he’s the abusive villain. He had no control over what he was doing, he had to listen to his master and can’t control the Hyde himself. He was just a neglected teenager who only wanted to know about his mother. His father would never spend time with him, and Laurel was the only person to take him seriously, so of course he was going to get closer to her. That’s what gr00m3rs do. He was injected with chemicals, was physically and mentally ab*sed. None of what happened was his fault.

I don’t understand how anyone can say Wednesday didn’t like Tyler. She chose to go to the dance with him, she INITIATED their first kiss and SMILED at him. Then even after finding out he was the Hyde, she still said he was her type. It’s canon that she liked him. 😭
