This week was by far one of my favorite!! The students learned about Henri Matisse and then created some amazing Cut-outs of their own!! I think my favorite had to be the 3 boys who teamed up to create a fantastic 3 part Pirate Ship piece!!

Unfortunately, due to some pretty heavy rainy day conditions I wasn't able to get photos of a lot of the children's art for this day. So I thought I would share the two visuals that I made for this project. It was definitely one of my favorite projects to prepare for and I did it just as the students would have, while listening to music.

These 3-5 year old did amazing job creating their own version of George Rodrigue's The Blue Dog. They are so amazingly creative with their color choices. It was great seeing them realize that not only could they draw an adorable puppy but they could also paint him whatever color they wanted!聽
