Post-Cyclone Penny headcanons (in the case she remembers the competition)

- A few new freckles appear around her neck upon being brought back

- Tragic levels of survivors guilt for a while and genuinely believed anyone else in the show deserved it more than she did and that they wouldn’t have picked her if they knew who she was

- Penny’s bullying lessens by a landslide (which still wasn’t as much as in her Legoland era because her bullies probably got bored but still) but she gets more stares in the hallways

- She gets into a habit of feeling her face when the dissociation hits to make sure she’s still Her and not a shell with a doll head

- Tammy spends more time with her after this and they end up getting genuinely close and not just “school best friends” you know

- Tbh. I feel like she might’ve burned the dress shirt she wore to the fair

- Definitely gets nightmares about it

- Even having a therapist, Ezra was still the first person she told about the competition

- I feel like eventually she comes to the conclusion she was given a second chance for a reason and should Embrace It and moves on past inconsolable levels but like yk the feelings towards it do not completely go away
