I think its because the dynamic is just...basic. Overused. Introvert x Extrovert with the introvert hating the other one. I dont see any complexity in their relationship 😭 the only thing that made them get closer were some incidents and those are apparently enough to call it a well written couple. Theres no harm in having fun but people saying theyre complex and deep just makes me laugh....Theyre NOT as interesting as people make them seem to be. Its the overrated "oh look a quiet girl and loud boy and the girl starts liking the boy woow" 💔💔 wheres the emotional confusion, the moments where "the loud boy" has his moments of doubts about the girl wheres the push and pull??? The push and pull stuff happened before Tyler died (and they were still pretty bland). Then it just stopped.

It does NOT progress that fast, especially if we're talking about Ashlyn who has NEVER had a friend before. I believe if they were actually given time, Aidlyn could've cooked. But now they're just basic and boring, they werent explored enough. The possibilities were disregarded.

the more interested i get in sbg, the more i dislike aidlyn, because i just like tyden and taylyn so much more and seeing aidlyn being so close to canon makes me genuinely sick i don't know how to describe it...

i kind of like aidlyn if it's one sided, but i still can't really stand it, which is terrible because i just got my friend interested in sbg and they like aidlyn </3
