Imagine what will happen once this is all over and they go to college.
Like will any of them stay in contact with eachother? Will they still be friends or will they just be a distance memories and then when they see eachother in future any conversation they have there will just a lingering tension in the air because they don't know eachother anymore and whenever they see eachother they just get reminded of the phantom realm and all the horrors that came along with it.
Will they all just end up being a bittersweet memory to eachother

can you write a tyler x female reader where reader's love language is gift giving?
OFC, DARLING.
author's note : this one's romantic but i'll prob write platonic one too because tyler is my comfort character hehe
Tumblr media
concept : f!reader who’s love language is gift giving genre : fluff, hcs + drabble, romantic content : established relationship, mutual pining, you both met because of the sbg group, taylor mentions
Tumblr media
⠀ › ⠀was more than surprised when you did it for the first time ⠀ › ⠀didn’t even know how to respond when you gave your first gift to him ⠀ › ⠀you could’ve sworn he had that small glitter in his eyes ⠀ › ⠀if you gave him a bracelet/necklace, he would wear it but hide it with his clothes (put the necklace under his shirt, bracelet under long sleeves, etc) ⠀ › ⠀in the phantom world, he would put so much sentimental value on the accessories you gave him as gifts. it gets him going. ⠀ › ⠀he’s the type to hoard all of it. ⠀ › ⠀at first, he kept it all in any area of his room that had space for it ⠀ › ⠀when your gifts started piling up, he got the idea of keeping all of them in one specific area ⠀ › ⠀when taylor found all your gifts, she prob brought it up to him like “have you ever thought of giving her a gift back?” ⠀ › ⠀he swears he has thought of it, he just doesn't know what to give. (he tried winning a plushie from that claw game at the arcade but he ended up raging and saying "this is rigged!") ⠀ › ⠀he was nervous about giving you gifts in front of others, so when you went out together alone; he gave you something i guess you could call.. adorable?
Tumblr media
tyler held out a small box in his hands, one thing immediately went to your mind; a ring. "you got me something?" you smiled "we're a little too young for marriage but we can -"
you couldn't finish your statement when he quickly raised his voice a little bit "i'm not proposing!" tyler panicked, he took a deep breath and opened it, your lips slightly parted; gasping.
the look on your face and the stiffening of your body made tyler nervous so he immediately closed it and scratched his neck, "it's fine if you don't like it, it was taylor's idea anyway." you grabbed the box from him and opened it.
there was a heart pendant, you opened it and saw one half having tyler's picture and the other half having your part of the picture. it was the day you two met. you took a selfie with the whole group during the outing.
"i love it." you smiled. tyler had a surprised look on his face. "cool." tyler nodded "cool." you giggled.
⠀ › ⠀he dislikes being soft but he swears he would do anything for you

OK fandom. I have a mission for you all. When SBG gets back from hiatus, I want everyone here in this fandom to do everything in their power to get the School Bus Graveyard tag in trending. I don’t care what it takes!

Okay AGAIN…School Bus Graveyard isn’t the only thing that’s going on in Red’s life right now. I think it’s valid to be frustrated cuz of the chapters kept getting pushed back, but it is certainly not right to put pressure on red and treat her as if our lives depended on her comic. She doesn’t owe us to spill every detail of her life or what’s currently going on in her life. I know we are a very passionate fandom but let’s not be the kind to demand things from the creator and make her feel worse. School Bus Graveyard will return eventually, we just need to give red more time.

when horror movies become therapy
it's been a year after the webtoon's final events, and the gang still can't watch real horror movies.
OR a sbg future au consisting purely of fluff, sleepovers, and, well, horror movies.
You would think, that one year later, things would have settled down. That everyone would be trying to get their lives back together, figure things out, and leave the past far, far, behind them.
The truth could not be farther from that.
The six of them have huddled together on Ashlyn's slightly bouncy couch, watching a crappy horror movie that was way too loud and way too flashy.
Watching horror movies had become a tradition between them, like a "take that" to everything they'd been through. It was a slow climb, sure, but it was something to do, and it made them all feel a little bit accomplished. Not being scared of another movie felt like giving a middle finger to the horror movie they lived through- almost like a step towards being... normal again.
Plus, they got to do it together.
"Someday," Taylor mutters, "We'll have the guts to go and watch a real horror film without freaking out."
Aiden snorts, shifting on the couch to avoid being squished between Tyler and Ashlyn. "Please, you wouldn't last ten seconds in an actual movie theatre."
She flicks him in the shoulder and sighs in pretend exasperation, "Please, you didn't last ten seconds in an actual movie theatre." She retorts, raising her eyebrows.
Aiden looks away, slightly red and embarrassed, "That was like, three months ago! And it was scary, okay? The ghoul thing looked like a phantom. There's no way you weren't scared too."
She can't deny that she'd also been freaking out, but Aiden's vocal reaction had made the entire group laugh for hours. He'd gotten up on his chair and screamed curses at the theatre screen, then spider-jumped two rows down and bounced outside. No, literally, he was practically hopping, flailing his arms and running out the door like an Olympic sprinter. He denies it, for some reason, justifying it with a flick of his hand and an insistence of it being only for the dramatics.
"Never said we weren't scared," Ashlyn blurts, grabbing a handful of sweet-and-salty popcorn out of an oddly geometrically decorated bowl, "Just sayin' that you didn't need to run out like Logan did when we first met him."
Logan squawks indignantly, "I did not run when I first met you!" He gets up to snatch some popcorn from Ashlyn's bowl, and makes an unpleasant face when he pops one into his mouth. "God, this is like if table salt and caramel had a baby, and then left it alone in a cornfield for a century."
"It's delicious," Ashlyn frowns, "You're taste buds are just deformed."
"I-"
"Guys," Tyler groans, "Can we just watch the fucking movie?"
Aiden leans over to ruffle his hair, causing Tyler to squeak and try to move away. "Aw, poor Tyler," He snickers, "I think he's enjoying the movie. We should all be quiet and let him watch it, then."
"I'm not!" He protests, because the film is terrible and it would be incredibly embarrassing to enjoy it, "I just want you guys to shut up."
Taylor frowns, "No you don't," She declares, definitively.
He groans, "Either you guys watch the movie and shut up, or you turn off the movie and complain about disfigured salt babies for hours. There is no in-between."
Ben types something on his iPad and raises it for the rest to see, Both, please, and thank you. He smirks slightly, clearly proud of pissing Tyler off.
He groans, "You guys are exhausting, I'm leaving. I have to get to practice early tomorrow anyway."
"No!" Aiden screams, launching himself at the tired boy, "You are not allowed to leave, buddy. You are being held hostage by the Phantom Busters, please do not rebel in any form or way."
"I... plead the fifth?" He blinks, knowing that there isn't any way out of this.
"We're having a sleepover," Logan declares, "No negotiations necessary. Or allowed."
Tyler rolls his eyes, but his irritated persona is broken when he smiles, "Yeah, sure, fine, whatever."
Ashlyn grabs another handful of popcorn, "You know, you do have to ask the person whose house it is if you want to have a sleepover, right?"
"Nope," Aiden shrugs, "But I asked your mom already."
She snorts, throwing a piece of popcorn at him, "When the hell did you do that?"
It lands in Taylor's hair, and she swats it off quickly.
"Like, right before we started the movie? You just didn't see me 'cause I'm a fucking ninja," He finger-guns her and swirls around, "Now, if you will excuse me, I must notify my parents that they are free of another morning with me."
The movie has stopped playing, and when Ashlyn finally notices, she furrows her eyebrows, "When the hell did the movie turn off?"
Ben waves the remote and throws it to Aiden, who just put his phone down.
"It's been confisticated," Aiden declares, punching his hand in the air like he's holding a gold medal instead of a TV remote.
Logan sighs, "Confiscated," he corrects.
"That's what I fucking said!"
"Whatever," Taylor waves him off, "We can finish the movie tomorrow. You guys want to play charades?"
"Can I be a clown?"
She sighs, "It doesn't work like tha-"
"Don't worry, Aiden, you don't need to pretend," Tyler grins, then ducks away from the popcorn kernel Aiden chucks at him.
"I hate you," He snaps back, with no heat behind his words.
"Ditto," He replies, still basking in the warmth of Aiden's rage.
The blonde calms down rather quickly, or at least he hides his anger as fast as possible. "You know what, thank you. I am a wonderful clown and as I stand here today, I demand justice for all the clowns in the world! You have wronged them, Sir Tyler of the Hernandez." He bows dramatically.
Taylor wheezes, "I need to get that printed on a T-shirt, oh my god."
Aiden nods rapidly, "Oh my god, absolutely, we need matching T-shirts and like, earrings."
You don't even have your ears pierced. Ben types, sharing an amused glance with Logan.
"What about the clip-on things? We could totally get that!!"
Tyler flops back onto the couch, nearly knocking into Logan, who pushes him away lightly. "Aiden, you have too much energy right now, and it's almost midnight. Can we sleep now?"
Aiden looks at him like he's insane, "Who goes to sleep during a sleepover?"
"Me. Good night, Aiden," Tyler smiles, amused.
"Fine," He grumbles, "Let's get the sleeping bags out."
The fact that they all had sleeping bags at Ashlyn's house only proved that they had slept over way too many times to count. Not that she minded though, it was nice having people around, and now that she was comfortable with them, it was almost relaxing.
Sure, it got tiring sometimes, but it was a small price to pay.
Besides, without them, who else would she watch horror movies with?

trial run
In the Hernandez family's case, Tyler was the trial run.
When he and Taylor were younger, he'd always be the first to do things. He'd willingly sign up for things just to make Taylor comfortable, just so that she wouldn't feel alone. They were always together. They did Next Level sports together, summer camps together, and even school-related activities together.
For a while, it was bliss.
But then Tyler had grown bored of it. Nothing appealed to him anymore; not even baseball. Everything he did was to support his mom and his sister. He had to play baseball so he'd get a scholarship and his mother wouldn't have to pay. They were financially tight. He had to stay protective of Taylor, even when he wanted to be protected himself.
Every time he swung his bat, he'd listen to the familiar crack as the ball hit it, the familiar whoosh as it soared through the sky. He'd run to first base, then second, then third, then finally back to home base.
He wanted to run away but he knew he couldn't do that; he had to support his mother and sister, since their dad wasn't around.
So he continued living as the trial run.
When he and Taylor decided to go on the trip to Savanah, he slipped. Something happened. The world started changing every night, every midnight. Dark creatures roamed around. He and Taylor weren't safe anymore; none of the six were.
Deep down, he knew nothing changed. He'd always be the first. That's all he ever got, anyway.
So maybe that's why he was the first to die. Because he was the trial run.

While they were speeding to the hospital, Tyler in Taylor's and their mums arms. Taylor hadn't spoken since she screamed Tyler's name. Only tears. Only quiet sobs. Nothing but absolute despair. Taylor's fear of losing her other half, if Tyler died she wouldn't know what to do with herself. How could she and mum live? They always relied on Tyler, maybe too much. Maybe if she didn't rely do much on him, they wouldn't be speeding down to the hospital now. Through tears she kept on repeating a silent pray in her head
'Please let him live'

HELP WHY DO I SEE SO MANY ANGST FICS EVERYWHERE?? GUYS STOP?? COME ON, THIS ISNT HEALTHY??
*ahem* anyway—
Family had many interpretations, Aiden learned. Family could be warm and sweet and comforting, but family could also be cold and cruel and a waste of time.
He didn’t have a need for his mother’s warm smile or his father’s comforting hugs. He didn’t want their affection or approval. Why should he need anything from them when all they’ve done is distant themselves from him?
Family meant cold meals and awkward dinners. Family meant empty houses and quiet rooms. Family meant missing any and all of his award ceremonies.
Family meant nothing to Aiden.
Sometimes, though, when the walls felt like they were caving in and the silence was too loud, he wondered what it would be like to have a family that cared.
Would his mother make him a warm breakfast with a smile on her face? Would his father pick him up from school and ask about his day? Would they care enough to love him?
It wasn’t good to dream. Aiden was well aware that dreaming about a better life would only sour his mood more. It didn’t help that he wanted a family, one that cared. He wanted to feel something other than the aching cold in his bones.
After a while, though, he learned to stop wanting. Wanting led to dreams of the impossible; to days where he felt like a stranger in his own skin. So he stopped wanting.
Instead, he pretended. He smiled and laughed as if nothing was wrong. He dyed his hair and put on eye contacts and stopped feeling like a stranger to himself. Nobody saw the broken boy inside him. Nobody knew who he truly was.
And he wanted to keep it that way.
Ben made things difficult. Ben gave him things he thought he’d never get. He gave him company, patience and love. Ben cared about him. Ben asked about his day; he listened when Aiden talked about his interests. It was almost surreal.
Ben gave him purpose and he was thankful. No, grateful. Smiling was easier with Ben around and laughing felt less forced than usual.
Then they moved and Aiden finally understood what a family was. He laughed and smiled and joked with his friends and almost forgot about the loneliness inside of him. They made living easier. And even though the phantoms weren’t ideal, Aiden was sure he’d never trade this for the world.
