All of my cursed bobas so far. I have one more series planned for sure. Maybe more depending on how I feel when the final three are completed. Who knows, maybe I'll make some blessed bobas to compliment these abominations.

You know, the more I think about it, the less the reasoning behind the cobblah spell is generally appreciated because I think that there's less conversation around spells being "petty" or "self serving" or "how dare you waste the god's time on minor shit when we have xyz to worry about."
Also it was a very amusing read to read someone's break down of the spell ignoring other things that are interesting about the spell. I was like hehe. *3* I shall stare at you from afar mysterious spell rater who loved how I crafted that spell. *3* and see your musings.
The cobblah spell, originally - the original spell I built - was not for cobblah but was for another petty ass thing. I was pissed.
Explicitly, I was told "don't put a time table on magic" - and I put 7 Days.
Explicitly, I was told "don't spell cast for a mundane thing" - and I put it for the mundane thing.
Explicitly, I was told "Don't CAST magic for mundane shit you can MAKE yourself" - and I put it for a mundane thing with the explicit, explicit, explicit, explicit purpose of not making it for myself.
It is very much a secular witchcraft spell. But more than that, it's a fucking middle finger in the face of "conventional" spell "rules" and continues to be an outrageous but nearly perfect example of how something is just fun.
I have used that spell in many variations for many different things - not all of which are food. It's usefulness and deviancy as a spell continues to unfold for years to come for me. I am very happy with that spell.
And while I could change it, in fact, I had a conversation around making an activational symbol and applying the casting to a motion with an image to make the access to the spell easier (because open flame is somewhat of a stopper for most people who rent or who have other issues where flames cannot be) - because I have the power of spell adaption in my tool set - I don't because this is just so very handy for me to have.
Spellwork, I should hope it does.
But the messaging around where the cobblah originates has disappeared or faded over time because it's "the cobblah spell" right? Cheeky, fun loving, everyone knows the spell. Yeah, yeah we've all seen the spirit sink that is the cobblah spell.
But, have we seen changes in the "conventional" spell "rules"? I think the "rules" are still there, I think we still have them. I think the requirement that a spell be "important," and that you "sacrifice" to get results, and that it cannot be frivolous because otherwise you'd be "wasting your efforts" are still in place.
Right? I see the ghosts of these rules haunting little fun call out posts about how 'thank god I've never cast an emoji spell" or "hue hue new witches do anything but jar spells challenge, they can't"
These takes about how "stupid" you'd have to be to do the cobblah spell when you can just fucking make it - oh wait I mean, these takes about the "emoji" or "jar" or whatever the fuck else spell, are literally just building the "rules" around spells.
"You gotta do spells based on the timing of the casting" "FULL MOON ONLY, DON'T DO SPELLS AT ANY OTHER TIME THAN 1 pARTICULAR FUCKING DAY" "don't do spells in the day, do it at night." "Don't SUMMON a GOD to do a fucking BEAUTY SPELL THAT'S RIDICULOUS!!!!!" "No you gotta put IN the resume before you GET the job. ugh, mundane actions are always REQUIRED for spells." "Yall out here wondering why Yalls spells don't work (literally there's no one out here wondering) - it's cause yall don't do ENOUGH WORK to GET YOUR SPELLS DONE." "Listen, you need to learn how to heal before your hex" "DOn't cast cURSES because that's BAD" "You know, actually, you MUST USE the eXACT SAME COLOR SYMBOLISM OR ELSE" "DID YOU TALK ABOUT YOUR SPELL OMGGG FAIL" "DID you THINK about your spell???? OMGG you took so much energy AWAY FROM THE SPELL - iT'S GONNA FAIL!!!"
Yall build so many rules for spells. It's so fucking interesting when I break them and have no consequences what so ever for doing so. Cobblah don't care what fucking day it is, what moon cycle it is. Cobblah don't care if you're doing this morning, afternoon, midnight. Cobblah don't care about deities. Cobblah don't care about your fucking mundane actions. Cobblah don't care about how much "work" you do - just that you did the spell. Cobblah don't care if you can heal or curse or whatever. Cobblah don't care about fucking what color you do or do not use in your spell. Cobblah don't care if you talk about your spell or think about it.
There's so many rules to break. And I enjoy breaking all of them.

People on this website will be like "oh I love this take on Christianity it's so spicy it would piss off all the Christians" and then it's literally an interpretation like 90% of us take for granted.

Do you think you could petition your followers for something? I'd like to learn more about the influence of AAVE from the South on the spectrum of all Southern dialects. I'm sure some of the people who follow this blog are knowledgeable about the subject.
hell yeah i love me some sociolinguistic stuff and definitely don't know my shit enough to contribute meaningfully to the topic myself SO as asked, if anyone has any insight/interesting sources they want to share, please please do
(thanks for all of your interesting asks lately btw, appreciate you)
