Will you pleease make an after the asylum, because I know a lot of us would join. I think we might have gotten tired of nothing new going on here.

I’ll have to find someone who would want to help me out with it, love. But, I really am considering it.

West Park Asylum was founded in 1920 by William Clifford-Smith and opened a year later. After a patient went missing, they shut down until 1980. West Park is the 11th and last great insane’s hospital. Located in Epsom, it was built between 1912 and 1914 and opened in 1921. Isolated in the suburbs, it accommodated up to 2000 patients in the 1960’s. A lot of smaller buildings, mainly patient wards, all connected together through closed corridors crossing the gardens to prevent any escape attempt. The asylum holds any person 8 and older. Remember, we are here to help you, not hurt you.

Important Announcement

This will be the last week of West Park if the activity does not pick up by Tuesday, the 25th of June. You are all allowed to promote our roleplay and tell your friends about it, so please do that. But, if the activity doesn't pick up, we will be closing West Park. If we do end up shutting down, we'll keep the page up, but put a special layout on it so people can't steal our bios. You may keep roleplaying as your characters if you'd like to, but if we do close, we'll be "releasing" the remainder of the patients. I may open a "after the asylum" roleplay. So, I will repeat, if the activity doesn't pick up by next Tuesday, the roleplay will be closing.

Evelyn’s Boarding House was established in 2008.  The building itself was constructed in the early 1700’s, then enlarged in the early 1900’s.  It was first used as a lavish home for a well to do family, though when the family died suddenly of a terrible murder - of whom the killer was never found-, it was largely left to ruin.

Most considered it haunted by the viciously murdered family, others wouldn’t dare taunt fate and live in a home with such a grisly history, and of course the issue of expense.  It was far too expensive for most to afford.  Though one day, a woman came to the bank, whom now owned the building and property, and within a years time, had not only bought the property, but was already working her way into making it a business of her own.

This was the beginning of the Boarding House.  Evelyn may have been the owner and the face of the beautifully renovated Boarding House, but there was a hand behind the face orchestrating much of this with his wealth and his own personal wants, though some matched the female Alpha Werewolf’s own.

Vaughn Graham was his name, and the family that had been murdered had been his own.  All those years ago he had been a mere 24, staying with his family to help with his many siblings and ailing fathers affairs when the atrocious event occurred.  Though everyone was slaughtered, he was spared.  At least his makers idea of being spared.  The man saw him as strong with how he tried to fight them off, even with blood pouring from his side. 

He was turned, and though he loathed his new life for decades, he did find enough in him to not only slaughter all whom killed his family, as well as his maker, but decided he would take back his home and make a place for his kind, and the werewolves, to go where they could feel at ease, even come for rehabilitation if needed.  Though after two centuries something he knows very well is this: 

Most do not seek to be helped, but want to cause hell.  If there is a way to quarantine this fact, then just maybe it is ‘good enough’. 

Evelyn is much like Vaughn, having no qualms with a bit of structured ruckus, though she is quite curious to see how two species will live amongst each other.  With the doors open, and the word getting out just what this place truly is, more are coming, and both are amused at the potential of what this place could be.
