I believe this card is telling you to move forward toward your goal with urgency and determination. this card has the indication of someone who is fiercely intelligent - leading me to believe that this card is indicating that you most likely know in your heart of hearts the action(s) you need to take in order to get where you want to be, but you haven’t committed to taking the plunge yet. 

lastly, this card is telling me that you may have a tendency to seek approval from those who are older and wiser than you think you are. I feel like you could interpret this in two ways. one being, to find someone who you admire and want to be like and try and emulate them. the second being to stop seeking approval from someone you see as being an authority figure, it’s something that is helping to hold you back from where you want to be.

how this is going to work:

we have an array of tarot decks to choose from tonight, descriptions of each will be listed at the end of this post

when you ask your question, you can either request a specific deck you would like to hear from, or leave it up to us to choose which deck we think would be best to answer you. if you don’t specify, whichever witch feels most strongly called to answer your question will take it. if you want to know more about us, you can read our autobiographies here.

**please send your requests between April 6, 2018 - 12pm (E.S.T.) on April 7, 2018 at which point we will close up the inbox and get to answering you!**

some ground rules:

ask is fine; messenger is fine. If you don’t specify that you want your question answered privately, we will answer it publicly.

we will pull between 1-3 cards for you, at our discretion.

please ask only one question. if you ask more than that we will reserve the right to ignore your inquiry.

we reserve the right to not answer any questions that make us uncomfortable

for the love of all that is holy please do not phrase your question as a yes or no; none of us read yes/no with tarot.

descriptions of the available decks will be listed below:

The Tarot of the Silicon Dawn (A): sci-fi influenced, sassy, all about rejecting duality. great for relationship or general life questions. has NO sense of time so ask about specific time periods (eg, your future) at your own risk. includes “extra” major arcana and an extra partial suit.

Ostara Tarot (A): a colorful and insightful deck. like the spring equinox, this deck is about new beginnings and rebirth - an insightful deck, it is straightforward and honest. good for pretty much any question type.

The Amethyst Oracle (A): A is still getting a feel for this deck, as it is her first time using it. no promises can be given in regards to mood, response, or typical answers. come on an adventure.

The Uban Divination Deck (A): will issue you an omen.

Wild Unknown Tarot (L): a dark, somewhat mystical deck. this deck is heavily influenced by animals and wilderness imagery. a deep, thoughtful and introspective deck, it is good for self examination and dream interpretation. 

Ophida Rosa Tarot (L): this deck is reminiscent of a greek chorus, many voices speaking as one. it is a deck that is heavily focused on growth; whether in your life, your relationships, or yourself. 

Slow Holler Tarot (L): this deck is not for the faint of heart. it will crack you open and peer into the depths of your soul, and tell you all the things that you have buried deep inside yourself. a good one to handle deep and difficult questions.

Food Fortunes (N): this deck will laugh at you when you cry. a very light-hearted companion on a train ride who may or may not be a psychopath. this deck is great for creative pursuits, questions about the tangible, and questions about dinner.

Dark Days (N): this deck is heavily inspired by the moon cycles, direct in a loving, gentle way. will read your soul. good for questions about time, relationships, or pretty much anything.

Celestial Tarot (N): this deck is a traditional deck that draws on astrology and history for its readings. it is good for pretty much anything.

Avoid questions that ask for a time-related answer. Avoid questions that require a name as their answer. Avoid questions that would need a yes or no answer. Avoid questions that require a choice between one thing and another. (In this instance it is better to gain more information in a reading and then for you to make this decision).
