It's not a recent ask. Lmao. But I hope not. One of them can't carry it. And the other should have supernatural stuff to worry about. Kinda uninterested in the romance bits (of anyone) tbh.

Both Mileven and Byler are toxic. but Bylers cant accept that and worst thing is when anyone tries to point it out they get upset.

Bylers created this fanon Mike in their heads and try to pass it as canon. no he is not suicidal. he does not have secret letters he wrote for Will. he was not calling Will every day every night. nobody was making homophobic remarks aimed at Mike. nobody forced Mike to be with El he chose that. he keeps picking El over Will each time. he focuses on him when El is not there to make out with.

the shippers are still stuck in season 2 basically. and they cannot move on. as deep down they see how not only Mike as a character has regressed since season 3, but also Will and Byler - they just repress it, harder than Mike represses his sexuality.

Bylers its toxic just admit it. Will is spineless - a doormat that lets Mike walk all over him. he thinks he is a mistake and Mike is the only one he can depend on to make him feel better about himself. Mike proceeds to treat him like garbage and Will gets mad for few seconds then forgives him. is that healthy to you?

Mike and El will not have a wholesome mutual breakup where they hug and settle on being friends yada yada yada this isnt a fanfic. there is no Elmike friendship in canon. yall just made that up, as you tend to do to make Mike look better.

i absolutely get that, though. Mike now lost all his personality, it’s just El El El El El El El El to the point you forget he has other character traits which get overshadowed by him being El’s boyfriend, loving El, focusing on El, talking about El, worrying about El, being mean which is caused by his obsession with El.

you guys have this pathetic belief in Duffers’ amazing writing skills and that they are those geniuses that will make satisfying deep arcs for all characters you like. well take off your shipper goggles and look at just how many characters and plotlines they screwed up already.

S4 shows how weak the writing for the romances is. All the canon couples fit into the roles of character x character’s gf/bf, and it irritates me.

Re hopper n Joyce. It's 2 wrongs won't make a right. A realistic show would show both of them at least slightly interested in raising their kids. Atp they're just treating them like succulents and trynna keep them alive.

in the years following st5... if Will is handled at least semi decently by the creators, he'll stay a loved character. in fact, anon should be more worried about Will's story being disliked due to dumbass writing in the finale, not any dumbass actor 🥱

I think we've severely overestimated the number of people forming the audience who give a fuck and also misjudged just how many fucks, the ones who're being charitable with their fucks are giving.

Most bylers will ignore the fact that the Duffers said Mike was depressed because of losing El in S2, not chronically depressed lol. S2 was actually a Mileven season more than the bylers like to admit.

Every season is Mileven season, but S2 is more byler season than any other season's been byler season. And that is with Mike fuckin off in the end to save El not giving 2 shits about Will's state because he literally went AGAINST what he himself said earlier. That boy is a Mileven stan. People need copium.

Re Mike's depression. Yep. He's NOT chronically depressed at all. It was a response to El's perceived death. People wildin if they think otherwise.

i dont think Byler are going to be together but its funny how them ending up as a couple would be less forced than Mike and El continung to date. the fact im supposed to believe its romantic lol. makes me roll my eyes. Mikes personality since season 3 is Els bf and when she left they had no idea what to do with him it shows. Will El Mike all of them are getting done so dirty. El atleast they are doing something with her outside Blandleven. Mike became an asshole out of nowhere. Will has no spine im surprised how he is still capable of walking without it and lets Mike get away with being trash. Duffers need to be hauled away and replaced with competent people that will do season 5 justice because lets be honest they cant do that. they struggle with storylines that i saw many fanfic writers handle with ease. one thing i look forward to is all the fix-it fics after the mess season 5 comes out and everyone reallses they tricked themselves and no Duffers never were geniuses you just made that up in your head.

also Noah and Finn acting sucks their last good performances were season two idk why yall cant accept it.

First of all how dare you say I don't accept FW sucks. More so how dare you say he was good in the first 2 seasons when he was annoying as fuck? The thing with Noah (I disagree ABT him being a bad actor but you do you) is Will's hardly there so really not that bad if you don't enjoy him. Can't say the same about whiny wheeler.

Mileven has no chemistry but idts it matters cuz it's got bsy and people tend to love that. So like idk. Idk abt byler being together so much as the at the end of very end getting together. But I'm over them in general so I'll be lying if I said I give a damn.

Eleven and the other numbers can go fuck off. Henry got his powers through the ultimate source and atp the closest to him is Will in terms of obtaining powers in a non transfusion way. Also his powers never got improved upon by Brenner. To me it makes no sense why El is OPed unless the transfusion doesn't really control how much/what powers but just that there will be powers. Are there also cases of transfusion but no powers? What's the differentiating factor? Why are some strong but others aren't? If the powers really are a result of Henry's blood. What's it that makes it more fitting for some n not so much for others? El was also shown as a hesitant student so why is she more powerful than the others? Is there an actual explanation or we gotta take it at face value?

So far it seems she's even stronger than Henry even before the final season after speedrunning her rehab that could've taken years but hardly took days (lmao pls weak writing). There's plot armour and then there's plot hole. This falls in the latter category.

Now re Will and his powers, I feel it's source too atp cuz how else did he get them? Surely there was no transfusion paraphernalia in the UD.

As to your point of stronger/weaker El, like I said, we've seen it doesn't matter where you get your powers from. El is god. Cuz the writers said so.
