A drawing a day. 'What Sarah Draws' was orginally a blog i've made to record my progress in drawing/source inspiration for future drawings. But since i have been busy with life/uni etc... I haven't been drawing as much, but love posting scripture that encourages/challenges me/ drawings that I find time to do! Feel free to follow my progress! ✌ ♡ ✎

Lessons learned today.
One. You can never eat too many oreos.
Two. I have some people in my life that just plain old suck and others that i am so thankful for.
Three. I’m still currently jobless
Four. There may be so many decisions that need to made and things to do but sometimes you’ve just gotta go with your gut feeling and just get it done.
e.g. find a job *cough* hire me *cough*, decide on living situations and down another 2 oreos.
Five. I think i have a new found love for oreos.

"If you keep doing what you're doing and do it will all your heart and effort, you will get to where you want to go. Don't do it for the fame, but do it because it means something to you. And eventually, people will appreciate the work that you do. And most importantly,
Trust The One who gave you the gift."
I’m going through a season of uncertainty, questioning where i want to be in the future, this means putting my trust in God, that he will make way for these things to happen (which is SO hard sometimes). But i’ve realised that putting time aside for just you and God gives so much back, whether your worried/stressed about something and needing a word, he will bring peace and direction into your life. All you have to do is seek + trust in him always! He is your greatest comforter + encourager.
You got this.

Matthew 6:31 - 7:8 I thank you that I am full and complete in Jesus Christ. That he has all that we need. All that we need is in him. All that we need to fulfil our purpose is in him. Shift our focus from what we are not to who you are. Live in the frame of mind, that magnifying gods goodness in your current situation will bring about in your life. The only way to tomorrow is today. Live in the focus.

You were made with a goal in mind, with a purpose that only you can fulfill. Your work is not just that thing you do to make money, it is a chance to use your gifts. Your family and friends are not just people you happen to know, but people God wants you to impact.
There is always opportunities to give glory to god. There is always opportunities to influence and encourage others. Never stop believing that God can use you through the things you do and say everyday.

Miniscule Sketches Drawn to the Size of Pencils, Fingertips, and Matchsticks by Christian Watson
Illustrator Christian Watson is a quickly becoming an Instagram sensation with his various minuscule ink drawings that are posted on his feed multiple times a day. The artist is the mind behind 1924, from its planning, art and conceptualization executed by his own hands. His speciality is his miniature ink sketches which are hardly bigger than a thumbnail or pencil tip, inspired from his cross country adventures.
Inspired by nature and rustic sensibilities, each piece is perfectly choreographed to add the use of the pencil or other outside tools effortlessly.

WISDOM
God is Wisdom. He is the giver of wisdom, if we ask for his wisdom and have no doubt in him, he will give it to us. He is the beginning of our thinking. Take captive of your thinking. Your thinking has to line up with what God says. Obedient to Christ. He is the beginning of our thinking. We are declaring things over our lives through God. Joy through God.
HOPE
1 Thessalonians 5:8
Our sins are not only FORGIVEN but FORGOTTEN. Hope keeps us fixed on a positive outcome. Hold to hope and believe that God can do what he says he can do. Wheres theres LIFE there is HOPE. Take those cares and fears and put them to God. Don’t worry or be anxious. We can find faith, hope, peace in the word of God.
Isaiah 26:3
