Finale -- Q&A Session!
Tumblr media
Presses the ‘Jeopardy jingle’ button on the soundboard. ~ Yuki
“Pfft, we’re not playing Jeopardy. You do realize that, right?” ~ Ana
“Agh, it’s the closest sound I got on this dang thing! Just bear with me here! Welcome back, listeners! Yukimi and Anala here. This is the final episode of our little show. How sad! No more dreams to talk about, but we do have a couple of questions from you all to answer as a climatic send-off!” ~ Yuki
“We really appreciate the support you’ve given us over the past month, and doing this show was fun and helpful for me. Thanks, listeners. Shall we get started, Yuki?” ~ Ana
“Indeed, we shall! We have 3 questions to share today for the sake of word cou—I mean, time! So, Question 1 is from Anonymous, ‘AnaMickie, do you ever sleepwalk?’ Good question. I often wonder that myself!” ~ Yuki
“Back as a little kid, I did a lot, yeah. It’s embarrassing to admit, but I had to sleep in my parents' bed sometimes so they could stop me from sleepwalking.” ~ Ana
Presses the ‘audience laugh track’ button on the soundboard. ~ Yuki
“Ha-ha! Oh man, I would love to see that!” ~ Yuki
“Well, you can’t. I stopped sleepwalking as a teen.” ~ Ana
“Boo! Onwards to Question 2, also from Anonymous. Ooh, this one is for me! ‘KazaYuki, what are your dreams like? Do you even have any?’ We can’t all be as blessed as Ana is with lucid dreams, I’m afraid! My dreams are nonexistent. I go to sleep, see pitch-black darkness for three seconds, and wake up hours later!” ~ Yuki
“Wow, I’m ‘disappointed’, Yuki. Between the both of us, you certainly have the more active imagination.” ~ Ana
“Right? It’s like our brains should be switched. Oh, well! Now for the final question for this session! Anonymous again, huh? Geez, guess nobody wants to show themselves. Ahem, ‘I’ve been struggling with nightmares for a while. Do the both of you have any suggestions for dealing with them?’ Interesting, wanna go first, Ana?” ~ Yuki
“Sure. I’d say do what we did and try to remember what parts of the nightmare stood out to you. Think about events from your life and see if there’s some sort of metaphorical connection. Your mind is telling you something.” ~ Ana
“Agreed! But I’ll say take a load off, especially if you’re a student! Relaxation time is important! Great for mental health and peace of mind! Stress always sucks, so make sure not to let it overwhelm you cause that’s how these things develop! We wish you the best, Anonymous!” ~ Yuki
“Looks like that’s all we got, eh Yuki?” ~ Ana
“You bet, former co-host but eternal bestie! We’re signing off for the last time, listeners. Stop by us in the hallways between classes if you want to chat! We’re always together, you can’t miss us!” ~ Yuki “Never forget to keep on dreaming.” ~ Ana

Episode 4 -- A Grand Rising
Tumblr media
“Woot, woot! We are back, avid listeners! Yuki and Ana here with the fourth weekly episode of ‘What’s in Anala’s Head?!’ Now before we start, I have to ask for any of our curious listeners left wondering after last week, did you end up settling your little conflict, Ana?” ~ Yuki
“Unfortunately, it’s still a work in progress, but I haven’t forgotten. I’m glad I learned a bit more about myself through this series, and it seems like that won’t change with today’s discussion.” ~ Ana
“That totally warms my heart, dude! You love to see it! Check out the artwork we’ll be discussing today, listeners! It’s very striking, I must say. Perhaps my best work… leaves a tear in my eye!” ~ Yuki
“Don’t get too ahead of yourself there, Yuki. Today’s art is a Phoenix rising from its ashes. When I had this dream, the creature surrounded me in flames. But unlike the second dream we talked about, these fires didn’t harm me. Nope, they felt warm and comfortable. Like I was secure in this creature’s embrace.” ~ Ana
“How awe-inspiring! Looks like we’ll have a shorter discussion here, folks! Ana, you look like you already have this figured out, so I leave it to you!” ~ Yuki
“Thanks! Well, in terms of spirituality, the Phoenix represents hope, rebirth, and transformation. So, I like to think this dream, more like my mind, is telling me what to look forward to in my future. I’m going to become a new version of myself, but at the same time, I’m always going to be who I already was. The warmth is telling me that change doesn’t have to be scary; I should welcome it with open arms.” ~ Ana
“Then that doesn’t sound like your future. Maybe it’s been your present self as is. You’re already making big moves, Anala.” ~ Yuki
“H-Huh? I… I guess I am. Wow. Yukimi, I…” ~ Ana
“Before this gets too sappy, let’s wrap up this episode, listeners! Share your thoughts, but keep in mind the next episode will be our very last iteration of the show!” ~ Yuki “We’ll see you then, listeners. Keep on dreaming!” ~ Ana

Episode 3 -- Held at Gunpoint!
Tumblr media
“Hey, you sure you wanna talk about this one on the show?” ~ Yuki
“Not at all. But you already hit record again, so…” ~ Ana
“AHEM, welcome to our third episode of ‘What’s in Anala’s Head?!’ KazaYuki and AnaMickie are here with our most suspenseful episode yet! Kids, be sure to get your parents’ permission before listening to this episode!” ~ Yuki
“I highly doubt little kids tune into this.” ~ Ana
“The internet is a vast place. Who knows what they might stumble onto out there? Alrighty, check out the art for the nightmare we’ll be covering today! You heard that right, we’re not talking dreams, but nightmares this time! Oooh! Troubled—I mean, treasured co-host of mine, what happened in this nightmare?” ~ Yuki
“Ugh… here we go. It’s… a gun pointed at a skull on fire. I had this nightmare just after last week’s episode aired, and I lost sleep over it. It kept coming to me again and again almost every night, resulting in more loss of sleep. The trigger would pull, and I heard the loud gunshot sound. Also… it felt as if the bullet pierced my own skull. That’s what kept me up at night.” ~ Ana
“Holy crap, what a vivid description. I’m sure you feel overwhelmed, AnaMickie. But don’t worry because we’re going to get to the bottom of this! You know how guns, or any weapon really, signify conflict right?” ~ Yuki
“Eh… yeah, sure.” ~ Ana
“There must be a conflict you’re facing in your life, Ana! Have any idea what it could be?” ~ Yuki
“Well, other than the growing up stuff we mentioned last episode, I’d say a certain… individual who shall not be named. She’s not listening to this, but basically, she’s been picking on me since freshman year. For no reason, either! Or at least nothing I could guess! It’s so frustrating cause she always gets away with it.” ~ Ana
“I think I know who you’re talking about, but you’re right. We can’t mention names here. Sorry, listeners! Okey dokey, so this bully or rival I guess we’ll say is your main oppressive force. She’s the gun, your source of conflict. Since you mentioned feeling that impact of a bullet, this finely shaped skull is you!” ~ Yuki
“Grim as hell metaphor, Yuki. But you seem to have a point with this, so keep going.” ~ Ana
“She’s the gun, right? So, when the bullet is fired, that signifies the incoming altercation, in this case, bullying! Wanna know why you’re convinced the bullet pierces the skull?” ~ Yuki
“…Because that’s what bullets do?” ~ Ana
Presses the ‘incorrect buzzer’ button on the soundboard. ~ Yuki
“Wrong! You gotta think outside the box here! You only think the bullet pierces the skull because…” Yuki
“I’m… not confronting it—well, her directly? Wait a minute…” ~ Ana
“That’s it! All you need to do is face your bully rival head-on and deflect her false truth bullets using your head of knowledge!” ~ Yuki
“You know, your metaphors need serious work. Luckily, I kind of get what you’re saying though. I only lost to her because I never thought about winning. I… should just settle it on my own terms. Thank you for helping me realize that, Yuki.” ~ Ana
“Happy to help a friend in need! That is the point of the show, after all! Okay, let’s put a stop to this week’s episode right here! Thanks for tuning in, everybody!” ~ Yuki “Hehe, until next time.” ~ Ana

Episode 2 -- An Explosive Birthday Party?!
Tumblr media
Presses the ‘KA-BOOM’ button on the soundboard. ~ Yuki
“WHOA, what was that?! It sounded like the explosive beginning to the second episode of Savannah’s number 1 budding podcast!” ~ Yuki
“Dude, we peaked at 10 listeners last week. What are you--” ~ Ana
“SHUSH! Shh, shh, shh! Ahem, what’s up, lovely listeners? Buddy cop duo AnaMickie and KazaYuki are back at it again with ‘What’s in Anala’s Head?!’” ~ Yuki
Presses the ‘thunderous applause’ button on the soundboard. ~ Ana
“In this episode, we’ll be discussing a recent dream AnaMickie had. Take a good look at this week’s art! Extreme, isn’t it?! Co-host, what in the hell are we seeing?” ~ Yuki
“I had this dream a couple of days ago, it’s… been bugging me ever since. You see, my 18th birthday just passed, and I ended up dreaming about a birthday cake sitting outside the front yard of a house. But the thing is, the house caught on fire and is in the process of burning down. So bizarre. To make matters worse, I literally felt the sensation of those flames. Like they were consuming me.” ~ Ana
Presses the ‘shocked gasp’ button on the soundboard. ~ Yuki
“Wowie, listeners! Could you imagine that? That’s mind-boggling for sure! And get this, it wasn’t even your house, was it?” ~ Yuki
“That’s the biggest mystery. We can connect the birthday cake to representing my birthday of course, but it definitely wasn’t my house burning down. Looks nothing like it.” ~ Ana
“What do you think it could have meant, AnaMickie? Did you have a bad birthday? Are you not hyped to turn 18 years old?” ~ Yuki
“My birthday was just fine, no issues there. But…if I had to be honest, adulthood is kind of scary. Dealing with a bunch of responsibilities and expectations being thrown onto you. It’s not something I was ever looking forward to.” ~ Ana
“Huh… I never would have guessed you felt that way. When you put it like that, it does seem pretty daunting, yeah. Maybe the cake represents those last remnants of childhood! Even if it’s not your house, that house could symbolize a haven you cling to.” ~ Yuki
“So, what does the fire mean?” ~ Ana
“Probably your ever-growing dread slowly engulfing you until you can’t take it anymore!” ~ Yuki
“Uh… that took a dark turn, KazaYuki.” ~ Ana
“It did, it did. But, hey! It’s just a dream, don’t worry about it! We’re ending things here for tonight. What do YOU think about this fiery dream of celebratory…ness? Until next time, we’ve been AnaMickie and KazaYuki! See ya!” ~ Yuki “…Right. Keep on dreaming.” ~ Ana

Episode 1 -- Battle at the Frozen Planet!
Tumblr media
“Mic check, one, two?” ~ Yuki
“Yuki! We already started recording!” ~ Ana
“Oh, crap! Ahem, HELLOOO, new listeners! Welcome to the very first episode of ‘What’s in Anala’s Head?!’” ~ Yuki
Presses the ‘thunderous applause’ button on the soundboard. ~ Ana
“Brought to you by your hosts! The lovable buddy cop duo of…” ~ Yuki
“Ana…Mickie.” ~ Ana
“…and KazaYuki! Woo hoo! On this show, we do a spiral nosedive into the freaky lucid dreams my good co-host here experiences daily, and we picked an excellent one to start off with. Artwork done by yours truly, by the way!” ~ Yuki
“It’s… a doozy. But we wanted to share the dream that started this hobby of mine to note down dreams in my journal. A hobby suggested by my fellow co-host and best friend when we were kids.” ~ Ana
Presses the ‘Awww’ button on the soundboard. ~ Yuki
“An intergalactic battle between a space wolf and a lizardman on a frozen planet. When the both of us met, it wasn’t the first time this dream came to me. It was like an ongoing series in my head, I guess. Two warrior races from opposite sides of the galaxy in a constant struggle for… for uh… Hmm. A-Actually, I don’t know why they were fighting.” ~ Ana
“Aw, what?! C’mon! There had to be some reason!” ~ Yuki
“Knock it off, I was just a kid! it’s not like I planned any plot points out. It just happened!” ~ Ana
“Hmm… then I shall ask you this, AnaMickie! What do you think the Space Wolf/Lizard Chronicles means?” ~ Yuki
“Is it supposed to mean something?” ~ Ana
“Well, yeah, silly! That’s the point of the show!” ~ Yuki
“Fine, fine. If I had to guess, they were fighting because they couldn’t settle their differences any other way. Maybe they didn’t want to fight at all. Sometimes, people do things they don’t like because it’s the only option they have.” ~ Ana
“Oooh, we’re getting all philosophical here on the pod! Here’s what I think! Secretly, there’s a big bad mastermind working behind the scenes controlling everything! Wolf and Lizard Squad are too busy fighting to realize it!” ~ Yuki
“Erm… You watch too much anime.” ~ Ana
“Hmph, you just don’t watch enough! That’ll be a wrap for our first episode, folks! As a departing message, what do YOU think this dream could mean? Let us know! I’m KazaYuki!” ~ Yuki
“And I’m… AnaMickie.” ~ Ana
“We’ll catch you on the flip side! Keep dreaming!” ~ Yuki
