if mitam was an emotion it would be nostalgia like an overwhelming need to turn back the clock and just stop time in general like its a race against time but its also the sweet embrace of what has already happened and its a certain smell that brings back a vivid memory and blue skies and singing with a soft timbre and hoping for a brighter future

if four was an emotion it would be loneliness and maybe that feeling of being left out it seems like a long nights drive and looking up at the night sky and feeling so small and being in a dark room wishing somebody anybody was there with you and its wanting to crawl back to your ex and also staring at your hands wondering how they weren’t able to fix what was already broken

if midnight memories was an emotion it would be rebellion it would be loud screams and stomping your feet to the beat of your own heart and putting up the middle finger at the world but it also feels strangely young like somebody who hasn’t had much life experience and being naive about the world around you maybe wanting to make it a better place but not knowing that you would need to give your life to do it 

if take me home was an emotion it would be love clueless hopeless love the kind of love that only teenagers experience sneaking out of your house to meet your girlfriend in the street giggling in a high school classroom as you pass notes back and forth the exhilaration of your heart thumping in your chest and your breath catching in your throat for the first time its love in its purest form 

if up all night was an emotion it would be happiness its laughter with your friends and smiling so hard your cheeks hurt its child like but its something you feel deeply right in your chest being truly happy and just wanting to shout it from the rooftops its running without a single care in the world its sunshine and summer and wanting to be free always and forever

QUESTION: why do u support clinton

i’m gna do this w/out attacking bernie altho his supporters have not granted hillary the same kind of respect :)

in light of tonight’s super tuesday results, it’s becoming increasingly obvious that hillary will get the democratic nomination. unfortunately for bernie, enthusiasm from the youth is not translating into higher voter turnout - democratic voter turnout is actually down from 2008 while republican voter turnout has increased significantly. with that in mind, i hope bernie supporters remember that their real enemy is not hillary clinton, but the republican candidates - all three of whom attacked hillary in their speeches tonight. the republican party is already on the offensive against hillary and it’s a shame that bernie supporters have joined them. the character assassination of hillary is not helping anyone who wants to see a democrat in the white house next year.

ideologically, hillary and bernie are very similar. in the senate, they agreed on 93% of their votes, so the idea that hillary has only recently become “progressive” for this election is inaccurate. it’s true that hillary has changed positions on issues like gay marriage, but i would remind people that she is not the first democrat to ever do so. in 2008, obama and biden both did not support gay marriage – their views on it were actually identical to sarah palin’s. i don’t think it’s productive for people to assume that hillary is disingenuous bc she changed her opinions, especially since she’s changed them for the better.

hillary is also the right candidate for the democratic party bc she works well with others. like it or not, the president will have to work with members of the “establishment” and we don’t have to look much farther than her overwhelming support from superdelegates to see that influential democrats favor her. democratic party unity is especially important now while the republican party is getting torn apart bc its two frontrunners are trump, a businessman who has no political experience and is ruining the party’s image bc he’s being supported by the literal KKK, and cruz, a senator who has spent all his time in congress alienating his peers.

besides that, hillary is the only candidate who has foreign policy experience, which will obviously be a big deal for america going forwards. and she’s a scorpio like literally who is gna mess with america with her as president.
