A promise is a promise, I’ve been working and planning on this oc since the second half of last year. Thanks to @ximmoriarty who helped me shape it better, I can show it to you today. I present to you my Nevermore oc Joaquín 🖤✨ I presented him along with Xim’s oc which I will upload after I upload Joaquín to the webtoon server.

Going back on the nevermore eps, I think it’s pretty wild but absolutely necessary how Lenore was willing to Kill Montresor, or allow Duke to kill him by saying “whatever is necessary.”

She didn’t care. In my eyes, this is the Lenore that was alive, because the Lenore in nevermore would do anything to keep everyone alive, even Ada and Will, even when she threatened him with a gun, I highly doubt she’d shoot him.

That’s in my opinion though, because Lenore doesn’t like the Deans and knows they’re playing them like they’re all in a game. And it annoys her, she doesn’t want anyone to suffer there.

But when she had that opportunity to deal with Montresor, yeah she had the option to humiliate him, but she was more on the side to killing him and was okay with it. Because her saying “it may as well be the same thing” she was okay with killing off his entire character, to watch him suffer and lose so much. And she has every right to do that with all that she did to her and her friends.

How he basically tortured her in her mind mentally in her memory, how he tortured Berenice and Eulalie and tossing them at her feet still alive , knowing he was supposed to kill them off in the trial but CHOSE to hurt them just for his benefit and to hurt Lenore and them. How he threw it in Lenore’s face that he should’ve killed “your little friends” when duke manifested

Lenore is the type to keep everyone alive and safe and it’s how she is. She puts others before her, even if she gave Ada the benefit of the doubt, I highly believe she would have done the same for Prospero and Will too. But Montresor? She wanted him to suffer or even to die. She wanted to see him at his lowest point and I FULLY believe this is the Lenore from when she set her house on fire, the Lenore when she rode all the way to Annabel. The Lenore that would cut her hair and pose as a man, potentially getting her and Annabel in serious trouble. That Lenore came out for that moment. And there’s probably more that we aren’t aware of until we see more of her memories.

But the “All of that was to bring me back to you-“ part in the song Would You Fall in Love with me again, is Lenore (Odysseus) reaching out to Annabel (Penelope)

But the audio I have in mine is both Odysseus and Penelope singing in sync from Odysseus’ “would you fall in love with me again” to Penelopes “I will fall in love with you”

This is just my excuse to imagine Odysseus Lenore and Penelope Annabel being a sad angst sapphic couple after being away from each other for so long

Or it could be the “and all of that was to bring me back to you” in the original nevermore comic and it’s Lenore realizing that she’s finally become Annabels Lenore after learning more from her memory
