On a more serious note:
“I hope everyone realizes that scrubbing historical references from websites is no different than burning books.”
I will note that I have no idea if this is referring to something specific, but I nonetheless agree with it. Erasing facts doesn’t stop them from existing. It’s the equivalent of plugging your ears and going “I can’t hear you!” when someone tries to tell you you’re wrong.
Whether you’re burning books or scrubbing references, what you’re doing is childishly denying a truth or perspective that you don’t agree with. Not only is it a violation on a moral and legal level, it’s a sign of how immature and narrow-minded you are.
You can’t stop people from believing. You can’t stop people from remembering. You can’t stop people from re-recording the facts after you removed them. You can’t change reality.
Much as Jews kept existing during the Holocaust, and LGBT+ folks kept existing whenever and wherever they were outlawed, those things you’re trying so hard to deny won’t stop existing just because you removed them from the record. It’s like trying to say the moon is gone– we can all still see it.
To whomever is behind this scrubbing of information; I don’t fear you. I don’t hate you. I just pity you, because you’re so afraid of things you don’t agree with or understand that you have to pretend they don’t exist.
To anyone who is against this scrubbing; I stand with you. Keep going. Keep the knowledge alive, even if it’s hard to stomach. I’m with you.

As someone in and around their 30’s it has been INSANE to see feminism in popular media descend through
Women can wear pants and play sports and that’s equality. Women don’t just belong inside the house. This woman has a career
This woman can be a mechanic just like a man could. She’s probably still a lesbian, though, which is basically the closest to a man a woman can *be*, and explains everything. But she’s still a person!
If a woman superhero CHOOSES to wear stilettos to fight crime, that’s girl power! This comic character written and designed by men wears a bikini and has a waist size of 12 inches because it makes her FEEL POWERFUL! Girls don’t HAVE to dress boyish to be strong! She can make you a sandwich AND be a feminist! Girl power!
What, are you saying women HAVE to do boy things to be taken seriously? Who are you to tell a woman what to do? Maybe some women NEED to get their hair and nails done twice a month to feel powerful! Maybe a lot of women WANT to be stay-at-home moms!
What I don’t think you understand is that women have an inherent feminine spirituality which guides them towards maternal and nurturing paths. Women need to honour their divine female aura to keep their. Their fuckin. Their chakras together or some shit. You should put quartz up your hooha and huff wheatgrass. Leaving manual labour and science and technology to men is natural and good for you spiritually
Uh she can’t do that, that’s a blue job, she’s a pink job girly. Food? Yeah, she’s having #girl dinner, which is a handful of almonds. Time for our 15 step skincare routine, which is empowering. Hashtag #girlboss. Ew no, touching dirt? She’s just a girl. You can’t expect a girl to do that. Haha #girl logic

Hello, my name is Saja. I’m a mother to a beautiful 8-month-old baby girl, writing this from a place I never imagined I’d be — surrounded by destruction, holding on to my daughter while the world around us falls apart. 💔
We used to have a home. 🏚 A simple place, but it was filled with love. Now it’s gone. What remains are memories, silence, and an overwhelming fear of what tomorrow may bring.
Each day, I wake up not knowing if we will make it through the next. My daughter should be learning to walk, to smile at strangers, to feel safe in her world — but instead, she’s learning to live in the middle of a war zone. 🕊️
I’m not writing this to ask for pity. I’m sharing our truth because silence won’t protect us. Maybe, through this message, someone will hear us — and care. 🤍
If you feel moved to share our story or offer support, it would mean more than words can say. Every kind act ripples outward. ✨

Thank you for taking a moment to listen. 🙏
I'm sorry, I can't give you any money, but I can share your message and hopefully it'll reach the right people.

I Have Returned! (With YouTube)
Hey! It's been awhile. My only excuse is that I found BlueSky and apparently I can only handle one social media at a time.
Anyway. I'm actually posting videos on YouTube now (only two, but it's a start) and I'd love it if y'all would check it out. I'm making Slowed remixes for the first time ever and some feedback would be amazing.
Many thanks. :)
- Christa.

TIL that having five fingers/toes is actually a recessive trait, not a dominant one.
As a normie with minimal genetics knowledge, this sorta blew my mind.
(If you’re also a normie and don’t know how that’s possible, the short version is that even though it’s a “recessive” gene, it’s way more common than the “dominant” gene for polydactyly (having six fingers/toes), and so unless one of your parents has the polydactyl gene, you’re unlikely to get it.)

"..Hello? Is anyone there?"

In all seriousness, I'm so sorry for the wait.
A lot of stuff happened and I got lost in bad-sleep-territory again, but on the plus side I might finally be figuring that stuff out- turns out I have a Circadian Rhythm Disorder, which I didn't even know was a thing.
It's fixable, which is great. The problem is that it takes time and consistency, which I'm not great at.
So. Anyway.
I'm back. Not sure for how long, but I'm back.
Hurray?

Sorry for the wait.
I haven't been on here for a good week or so, and I'm sorry.
The short version is that I first got caught up frantically recovering photos that my iCloud decided to delete all by itself (which took a few days), and then I was just busy/tired for the rest of the week, and actually feeling kind of sick yesterday (possible sleep seizure left me woozy and semi-disassociating for a few hours, on top of not eating much before bed).
So yeah. Fun times.
Still not at my best (haven't eaten much yet, feeling a little faint), but I'm well enough to post an update, so here you go.
