If you want to buy the manga/light novels I recommend https://www.thriftbooks.com/, although there are some restrictions on shipping if you're not in the US (Which I'm not and so I'm crying)
It's also always helpful to check https://sites.google.com/view/bsd-bibliophileonlinelibrary/online-library as they have a lot of useful links and resources!
If I find other resources I'll update this list, but I hope this helps someone find something they were looking for!

Suddenly remember i had backlash in the past here because i talk about main vocal in touken ranbu musical team. LOL
Well mostly, that just me and the other person have different point of view about that matter. What she know that main vocal mean the member will sing but the other dont. Maybe just like pussycat dolls when nicole is the only one singing or in exile group where only one or two members are singing.
But what i mean back then was so different. Now i can take more clear example from jp side.
And i guess i want to say thanks to people i dont know but they defend me at that time. Some of them even came to me said i can talk whatever i want about that matter. seriously, thank you. 😄😄
Though, i want to say sorry because my unfiltered or too blatant word makes the fandom shaking. 🙇🏻‍♀️ And to the person who uncomfortable because i said that time too, i'm sorry.. 🙇🏻‍♀️

Interesting... 🍵
And i think this can apply too for idol world in general, outside 2.5d world.. 🍵
Hello! I wonder if actor 2.5 D can get married? I know this is kinda sensitive but i hope you answer my question.
Hiya! :D
Thank you for the question! I actually think it’s a very interesting topic, but because I feel that it’s really subjective, I’m going to go a slightly different route for my response to this question, and give a more personal opinion on it since I do feel that the nuances of the subject really depends on the perspective of the individual fan :D
The TL;DR is: yes they can! ♥ In recent years, 2.5D actors like Hirose Tomoki, Ikeda Junya and Terayama Takeshi have announced their marriage, and I, for one, am really happy for them~!
The longer answer to that is: although there is no official "love ban" (as the dating and/or marriage ban is known as), 2.5D actors are encouraged to not get involved in romantic relationships because of the nature of fan culture in the 2.5D industry, which is often compared to the fan culture in the idol industry.
Disclaimer: A discussion about the general fan culture in 2.5D (which, I believe, is the main reason why talk of romantic relationships is such a sensitive topic) will be included in this post, so I would just like to put out the disclaimer that my answer is purely based on my own personal opinion and not meant to point fingers at and/or gatekeep how individual fans manage their own personal fan experience because fandom in itself is a gigantic grey area. LOL!
A lot of the examples mentioned in this post also refer to the more extreme side of fandom, and do not generally reflect fandom culture as a whole. However, they do, nevertheless, contribute to the reasons why the "love ban" is in place, which is why they have been brought up in this post.
With that out of the way, please find the rest of my response under the cut xD
In response to the topic of 2.5D actors and romantic relationships, I have posted my thoughts about the detrimental effect that dating rumours and RPS (which is used to mean "real person shipping" and refers to the fan culture around shipping actors IRL) can have on the actors, which can be found in the posts listed below.
My thoughts on dating rumours in 2.5D: HERE
My thoughts on RPS in 2.5D: HERE
TL;DR, the common thread that runs through both posts is the backlash that can come from fans. But, why do fans play such an important role in the careers of 2.5D actors and why are actors so afraid of such a backlash?
Popularity Can Lead to Better Opportunities
One of the similarities between the idol industry and the 2.5D industry is the role that popularity plays in the career of a 2.5D actor. Before 2.5D popularity rankings started becoming, well, popular pffft, the popularity of an actor would be (and still is) usually measured in the ways listed below:
sales of their character bromides and other character goods
fan responses to their social media accounts
I’ve touched on the importance of bromides (which is the term used in the 2.5D industry to refer to character photos) in this post: HERE
On the other hand, fan responses refer to things, like the number of Followers, Likes, RTs and replies, actors get on their Twitter, Instagram and other social media accounts, which is used as a measure to determine future opportunities for actors. It is also for this reason that fans are highly discouraged from re-posting content from a 2.5D actor’s official social media accounts (and in the cases of some actors, they have explicitly asked fans to refrain from re-posting such content and will take legal action against fans who do so).
This is because when fans re-post contents from an actor’s social media account (and other official social media accounts that they are affiliated with), they are taking away fan reactions from the original post, which can impact an actor’s future opportunities.
Side note, because this topic is also a grey area and a whole different can of worms, how I personally navigate this is:
if the actor/management company has explicitly banned re-posting, I refrain from re-posting entirely
if the actor/management company hasn't explicitly mentioned it, I try my best to refrain from re-posting the same content from the same platform to the same platform, ie. re-posting photos that are posted on Twitter to Twitter, and even when I do, I will always link to the original source of the content where possible to encourage fans to look for the original source ie. my translations of Sato Ryuji’s Twitter updates that I do here on Tumblr. It is also for this reason that I try not to re-upload YouTube videos where view counts is often used as measure.
TL;DR popularity and measures of popularity are really important to 2.5D actors because it has an actual impact on their opportunities as an actor, which can mean that the career of a 2.5D actor is highly dependent on their fanbase.
In the eyes of some extreme fans, this can lead to the mindset that the 2.5D actor is only who they are today solely because of the fans who support them and that they owe their success to their fans; therefore, they belong to the fans.
AKA the idea that fans "own" the actors they support.
Fan Ownership
The concept of fan ownership is something that is at the core of the Japanese idol industry, and in some agencies, the "love ban" is contractually enforced because of this (whether this idea is still applicable is a discussion for another day pffft).
Behind this is the idea that an idol who is single and romantically unattached can be the ideal fantasy lover of the fans, and the fans can buy exclusive personal privileges with this idol which reinforces that fantasy ie. having a personal cheki (also known as a polaroid photo) taken with your idol or being able to have one-on-one talk sessions with them and being able to shake hands with your idol during a handshake event.
Anyone who is familiar with personal events held by 2.5D actors will notice that these kinds of events are also common in the 2.5D industry.
Taken to the extreme, there are fans who genuinely believe in that fantasy, and who genuinely believe that when they are special in their idols' eyes even when there's no indication that they're any different from other fans.
Coincidentally, the TV drama "Re:FOLLOWER" starring 2.5D actors Wada Masanari and Sato Ryuji actually has an episode that deals with how dangerous this can be. Fellow 2.5D actors Matsuda Ryo and Higashi Keisuke are also featured in the episode. In the episode, a young stage actor gets hit with a major fan backlash when it's revealed that he's been dating someone in secret. This is actually a scarily accurate reflection of real life, and is one of the main reasons that the "love ban" is enforced.
NOTE: If anyone is interested in watching "Re:FOLLOWER", please feel free to send me an Ask off-Anon xD
Although I've been talking about the idol industry, even from this brief discussion, it can be seen that, to a certain extent, the 2.5D industry does follow a similar structure. That said, fan ownership doesn't necessarily just refer to the "senpai belongs to me" syndrome in a romantic sense, but the idea that the actor is selling a fantasy still forms a big part of it with the fan paying to buy this fantasy (again, this is a matter of debate, LOL).
While personal events have their benefits, such as the fans being able to get to know their favourite actors better which can lead to the actors gaining a stronger support, the downside is, this feeds into the fantasies of personal ownership that the more extreme fans have.
And, in 2.5D, in addition to destroying the fantasy that the idols try to sell to fans, 2.5D actors have to contend with fans who see romantic relationships as a betrayal of the character.
Betrayal of the Character
This can generally fall into two different categories:
Fans who just can't see the character as having a romantic relationship with anyone who isn't their canon partner in the series or with anyone at all.
Fans who ship themselves with the characters (or fans who have the characters as their comfort characters, and feel a sense of extreme ownership over the characters because of this), and feel a sense of betrayal when they find out that an actor has "someone else" which destroys this fantasy.
Therefore, this could lead to backlash against the actor playing the character, who the fans feel, have stained the reputation and image of the character (this also applies to more than just romance, which is why some actors carefully curate their public image in a certain way to avoid getting cancelled or flamed, otherwise known as "炎上").
However, because backlash against romance of this category is mostly aimed at the characters and not the actors (unlike idols where the idols are selling fantasies of romance with themselves), there is the added nuance that fans can accept actors having romantic relationships if they keep their private affairs out of the public eye, and that the actors' personal lives don't interfere with the fans' perceptions of the characters they play.
Which brings us to other factors that can affect the impact that romantic relationships can have on an actor's career.
Other Factors
Age: Having a romantic relationship is likely to have a bigger negative impact on a young actor's career than the career of an actor who is older and is considered to be at an age where getting married is common according to societal expectations. Therefore, younger 2.5D actors (usually below the age of 30) tend to avoid being really public about their personal lives, especially when it comes to romance.
Eligibility: Actors who are cast by fans in the image of "ideal boyfriend" tend to be more careful when it comes to their personal romantic relationships mostly because their main selling point is the fact that they are the ideal boyfriend. This also applies when actors tend to play characters that are cast in this image. Therefore, actors who are seen more as "friend" types or who are cast by a majority of their fanbase in a more platonic image tend to have a bigger leeway in how they manage their public images.
Conclusion
Which brings us back to the TL;DR that yes, technically, to my knowledge, there is no official "love ban" for 2.5D actors. However, because even just rumours of being in a romantic relationship or getting married can have a negative impact on their careers, the actors are often discouraged from having such relationships or being public about it.
