Fiona being introduced as a woman with talents and passion and Edwin falling for her for those aspects of her just to be reduced to a docile mother in death by Edwin himself is so awful.

Of course when she had David being a mother became a huge part of her life, but she still criticized Edwin and pleaded for him to listen to her. She died doing something that she chose to do despite Edwin saying she wasn’t supposed to be there. Edwin stripped Fiona of everything that made her her when he enabled m1’s housewife behavior, he believed she was m1 because he stopped seeing her.

F10’s only motivation is having her baby back, and it’s horrifying to be minimized like that as a woman, especially one who was as headstrong as Fiona.
