I am imperfect and I find comfort in knowing that. The potential for growth leaves me curious about every day. I try to laugh even when I don't want to. There is truth behind humor that helps heal wounds as a way of forgiving and accepting ourselves for feeling pain. I don't like confrontation, not because I'm a coward, but because I think there is a better way of solving problems. I overthink and overdress because I aspire to be the most fabulous version of myself. I try to actively do what is right over doing what I want. Sometimes this puts me in undesired confrontations with myself. I know what I believe in. I treat myself the way I want others to treat me. I am a full believer in seeking happiness within yourself before finding it in other places. I am horrible at texting. I feel more connected to the world when I spark up a random conversation with someone on the subway or reading a friend's favorite book than I do connecting on my phone. I unapologetically love potatoes in all forms and anything paired with avocados. I can't wink for the life of me, but I'm okay with that because I think winking is an odd primal form of seduction. I have learned to love my body and everything it does for me, so I choose to take care of it. Today, I choose me. Sometimes that isn't an easy choice for me to make, but it is the choice that is right. I accept the things I cannot change and encourage myself to fully indulge in the messy challenges ahead. I enjoy the unknowns of life because I know who I am. I am loud and shy at the same time, and a handful of other contradictions. To me, life seems a lot less complicated when you have the choice of how you live it. #wcw #loveyourself #becausewhynot
