Alrighty, I guess I should post my Twitter rant on people’s ‘opinions’ on Ouno’s voice so here it is…. (The text below is directly copy and pasted from my Twitter Account)
Alrighty so I watched the TETRO Video and as always I go on Twitter because I’m a loser and want to see new art of her….
Sooo. Tell me why the first tweet I see is from Luc saying that people where making fun of her voice because she was speaking slower-
I couldn’t join the premier or the stage thing that was hosted in the discord because I’m at work- but seriously people get your priorities straight.
I read that it wasn’t a speech impediment which doesn’t even matter because why the *fuck* are we making fun of people’s voices in the first place.
People wonder why most people don’t like talking or revealing their voice when talking online because you know rude ass people will make fun of them, and I don’t blame them.
Okay now I’m ranting, but back on subject we shouldn’t be making fun of a characters voice because of how they sound or their speed of speech. Especially because the voice actor (Lemon) did an amazing job on executing how she speaks and seeing how the voices are here I’m excited to hear the other voices
>Also I’m not mad if people don’t like her or her voice but getting mad because everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I’m just saying you can’t hate her character because of her voice or how she sounds. To kinda prove my point I looked back on the premier chat and picked some comments out to, I think, prove my point. (I censored the names because I’m not an asshole, but you get my point).

Despite all this negativity there is a lot of positive comments on her voice and how it is directed! So dont let the bad apples ruin the rest of your batch! This comment explains it best! And I just like the other comment :3.

Okay sorry for the long ass rant. :3

HAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAAA YOUTUBE REALLY FUNNY PRANK!!!! I totally want to watch [REDACT 085] again and get sadder each time I watch it
Spoilers
You realize that the last Tetro Week was just about one month ago right? Wada has been dead for 2 weeks, this means that after the Killing Game Wada barely lasted a week, and was hanging on by a thread.
I wonder if we will get more episodes before Blue like each one about the survivors of pink. Like from another’s perspective.
Ex with this we learned that after the killing game Wada had died through Yanagi’s perspective. So I’m wondering if like next Thursday or whatever we have like an Nagawa / Yanagi (or more like Nagawa listening to his voice mail and calling him back).
OR WE LEARN THAT NAKAMIGAWA IS ALSO DEAD AND WE GET IT THROUGH TAKESHI’S PERSPECTIVE THEN BITH THE BLUE BERRIES DIE AND TAMBA IS THE LAST SURVIVOR BC SHE IS A QUEEN
⬆️don’t mind that

ojima loredump from a couple years back i wrote for my staff
i can finally post more of these now yay. tw for ojima things
so ojima, as you may recall, was one of the OTHER people who was abused by a parent! hes also the youngest of three boys with his two older brothers being four and eight years older than him respectively! his family was pretty well-off financially and his dad had a pretty prominent position in the business world, so from the outside looking in, all was pretty good! except that by the time ojima was born, his parents' marriage was already in a rapid downward spiral and his brothers were already regularly seeing the fallout from this in the form of physical and verbal abuse. ojima was supposed to be the sort of "patch" that was meant to fix their marriage because his mom thought that having another kid would force ojimas dad to be more responsible/caring/present etc, except obviously that did not happen because having a new baby in the house just made things way more stressful. his parents ended up staying together regardless, but their relationship was constantly in turmoil and for the first few years of his life ojima grew up in pretty much the same environment as his brothers: abusive and socially high-pressure
enter ojimas uncle, his dad's brother and another fairly relevant man in the world of business. hes super friendly and the boys love him and hes fun to be around and ojima in particular is attached to him because when hes out with uncle kenji, theres no fighting or yelling or hitting and everything is cool and hes only three so he has no concept of the fact that this dude is getting……..a little bit too comfortable around him! so things eventually get to the point where his uncle is taking ojima on outings without his brothers present, and from there, things escalate, and ojimas relationship with his uncle very quickly becomes sexually abusive. ojima is THREE of course so he has no idea how fucked up this is but understands that he does not like it and does not want to be around his uncle anymore except that things dont stop there and nobody really finds out about it for another two years despite it being ongoing.
so at age five ojima is talking to his oldest brother, who is now thirteen (his name is tetsuya!) and has a total meltdown. he knows hes not supposed to tell people about what he does with his uncle but hes completely losing it and he trusts his brother. tetsuya, who actually understands whats happening and is pissed, thinks it wise to go to their dad, which does not end well! dad is pissed that theyd make accusations like that about his brother and refuses to indulge the idea that ojima could be telling the truth in any way. what ensues is his dad doubling down on the psychological abuse that ojima is going through at home, and for lack of a better term, basically gaslighting him into thinking that hes lying and everything is fine, despite the fact that shit with his uncle is STILL ACTIVELY HAPPENING at this age!
so by around age six, ojima has his first experience with blacking out. between what his uncle is doing, what his dad is doing, the fact that he cant even trust his own mind anymore and the pressure of having to present all this as being totally fine because of his family's social status, something in him just snaps and he completely dissociates. hes suddenly in this world in his head where nobody can hurt him, nothing bad can happen, and MOST IMPORTANTLY, he is completely in control. of everything. ojima has never, ever been in control and its something he becomes practically addicted to because its the only way he can feel safe. it goes from dissociating once at a particularly bad moment to dissociating constantly to escape how shitty his life is. when ojima turns ten, his brother moves out and its absolutely devastating for him because thats one of the only two people in the world he can trust. from that point he pretty much never sees him again. tetsuya does literally everything in his power to get ojima and their middle brother (his name is toshiharu!) out of that environment, but hes eighteen and hes not their parent and their dad has a lot of sway, so it doesnt amount to anything meaningful. ojima is told that his brother left because hes a shitty person and he hates their family and eventually he learns to internalize that and blames his confession and his supposed destruction of their family for tetsuya leaving and never coming back. the many many attempts for tetsuya to contact ojima and toshiharu go interrupted by their dad and the two dont speak again.
things basically continue with ojima being abused at home and at his uncle's until he turns fourteen, at which point the next big milestone is that toshiharu moves out and reconnects with tetsuya, and now the two are full steam ahead on getting ojima out of that environment. except that its still basically useless because they have no legal say over him and their dad is really powerful so everything is still mostly the same except that ojima is completely alone. hes dissociated a good 90% of the time at this point because hes just incapable of handling the absolute shitstorm of things happening to him. hes in a living hell and maladaptive daydreaming is basically his only escape and the only thing that keeps him going. because of this, hes seen as weird and stupid by other kids at school and is treated like shit there too. theres pretty much nothing left in his life that could be considered good or redeeming except for the two things he enjoys: daydreaming and drawing.
contact with his uncle starts to break off around age fifteen when his uncle starts losing interest due to ojima being older now. ojima gets tremendously fucked up over this, and while hes relieved that its not happening, his brain is so torn at this point that he gets caught in a sort of spiral of wondering why hes no longer desirable and why people keep leaving him, even when they're bad people that ojima doesnt want in his life. in this time between age fifteen and age seventeen, things start to improve slightly because his uncle isnt touching him and his dad isnt constantly brainwashing him to get him to forget about his uncle touching him so for this brief gap of time, he can almost live comfortably. he starts doing some freelance illustration work because his dad wants him to get a job and it turns out hes pretty damn good at it, and he enjoys it a lot, so he spends a lot of his time illustrating. hes mainly motivated by the fact that he wants to give other kids like him a beautiful and vivid place to escape to, so he depicts all these fantastical and whimsical worlds in kids' books to give them that same sort of escape that he needed. his brothers are still desperately trying to get in contact with him/get him out of their old house, but its been years by this point and all he knows is that they both decided to completely abandon him one day and never look back, something that he entirely blames himself for.
despite things getting a bit better for him, ojima basically never grows out of the daydreaming and it takes over his life to some degree, which honestly? its debatable whether its good for him or not. on one hand, its extremely disruptive to his life and is not a healthy coping mechanism by any means. on the other hand, it was literally the only thing that got him through the past ten years alive and continues to be his only escape from the shitty life he has. anyway ojima is sixteen now! the physical and psychological torment from his dad starts to transition into a more familial/patriarchal pressure at this point - tetsuya and toshiharu are gone and severed, which means ojima is the son thats going to take over his business one day. suddenly his dad is treating him like a grown man when hes ever only been treated like a doll for his entire life - now hes being taught about business and social policy and world affairs and all these things he isnt interested in and doesnt understand. he really just wants to draw and dissociate and pretend nothing bad is happening to him. except even though hes not being tormented anymore, things are not good! because he has, obviously, absolutely massive amounts of trauma that he is not coping with. instead of ever dwelling on this or addressing it, which arent really options for him anyway, he goes deeper and deeper into his own headspace to escape it and pretty much locks himself away in this dissociative world to ignore everything that isnt his own art.
then ojima turns SEVENTEEN and the world flips. his brothers finally manage to get their case in front of a judge and the ojima family business SINKS LIKE A ROCK. his parents are in jail, and hes suddenly out on his ass. his brothers scoop him up pretty fast and do their best to piece him back together, but ojima is absolutely fucked in the head by this point. he lives with tetsuya and toshiharu and continues working because he loves to work, but he seriously struggles to rebuild the relationship he once had with them because in his understanding, they hate him. thats what hes been told for years. they live in this very tense situation where his brothers desperately want to help him, but they are also traumatized and they do not know what to do for him because hes just an absolute mess. ojima bounces around the idea of therapy for a while and frequently registers for therapy/drops out/registers/drops out repeat repeat repeat because he knows his broken and he knows he needs help, but going to therapy means actually thinking about his past and what happened to him and he cant do that. its terrifying and it hurts and he just wants to be in his own headspace. it leads to a lot of very emotional conversations with his brothers who still just dont know what to do but desperately want to get him help somehow.
and then the killing game starts

here have a wada one too
wada loredump for my staff from a few years ago tw for wada things
so wada grew up in a pretty shitty & violent situation as well. anyway continuing. wada was the result of an accidental pregnancy so he was already not particularly wanted and his parents were not particularly capable of being parents which lead to him being neglected a LOT of the time. he usually didnt have much to eat or do or wear so a lot of the time he was just getting by on his own. except that when he got a little bit older this started getting worse because instead of just completely neglecting him, his parents started getting physically abusive and typically just wanted him out of their sight by whatever means. so wada spent a lot of time just hanging out in his room being hungry and bored and sad
eventually this whole situation of being locked in the closet all the time and frequently starving/beaten gets found out and he gets yoinked out of that house and put into the notoriously wonderful and helpful foster system where he spends a lot of time house hopping between families who he doesnt really connect with in any way. hes considered a bit of a "problem child" because he has a lot of behavioural issues that just come from not being raised in any meaningful way. he doesnt get along well with other kids and doesnt connect/communicate with parents and hoards food and doesnt know how to do a lot of things that kids his age should know in terms of academics/taking care of themselves so he gets very accustomed to being passed along to the next family with a little backpack full of like. all three things he owns
so then he gets a bit older and hes still getting passed around a lot and he is a very solitary kid because hes just not forming connections with anyone ever. he finally ends up with a family whos a little more insistent on taking good care of him i.e. getting him new clothes and making sure he eats and such. except wada's metabolism is obviously completely fucked because hes been eating like a starving person for like twelve years. so as is often the case when someone starts eating regularly after being horribly malnourished, his body starts holding onto that weight, which immediately makes him panic because wada is a very very self-conscious kid at this age and he already gets shit on constantly at school for being weird and being poor and being a foster kid and he does not need LITERALLY ANYTHING ELSE that could possibly make him a target. so he starts eating less again and wearing clothes that basically hide his body by just being way too big for him
so now wada is like 15. hes on his way out of the foster system in like a year. by this point he is not doing super well. hes having serious mental health problems and body integrity issues and the main two things seriously affecting him are depression and an eating disorder. hes just having a very very rough time at this point. not to mention he is still being constantly harassed at school cuz hes still weird. so this is the point in his life where wada discovers TWITCH GIRLS. hes immediately enamoured with vtuber girls who are pretty and friendly and happy and they say nice things to him and make him feel special and he absolutely loves it. so now wadas got one good thing in his life that he can consistently come back to to make himself feel happy when hes feeling like total shit. which is a W by 16 years old wada is OUT THE DOOR and ON THE MOVE and in his own shitty 1 bedroom apartment. hooray!! hes working as a VA for the time being and getting by mostly on the fact that hes a very good impersonator and can do basically any voice thats needed of him. hes still wearing clothes like three times his size but hes eating semi-regularly with food he can afford because mikimiki says he should take good care of himself and eat and sleep and yadda yadda!! but hes still very very alone and thats a fact that he just sort of represses and ignores cuz its uncomfortable. at this point hes dropped out of high school to focus on work and also focus on never going back to high school because he hates it. he basically just lives this hikikomori fanboy shut-in lifestyle along with occasionally going to the convenience store to get microwave pad thai and bang energy. what a life!
so now hes 17 and hes in the killing game which is not ideal. except holy shit mikimiki is there and shes been his oshi for like two or three years now and he admires her more than anyone else in the world and shes right there. so when he has his breakdown in home side A and isono promises that the two of them will stay friends after this, hes over the fucking moon and he finally feels like someone cares about him for the first time in forever and its amazing because he did not think he was even capable of being loved. nobody has ever loved him across like a million different families so the problem had to be with him right?? he figures that if nobody in the entire world cares about him, the problem has to be with him and not with the entire world. except now isono and tsuno care about him and theyre constantly cheering him on and rooting for him and reminding him to take care of himself and giving him all this love that he doesnt even know how to process and its an incredible feeling because he actually feels welcome and happy and loved around them
and then he discovers isono's body and tsuno gets murdered right in front of him

hiroaki too. i think this is the last one i have from pink
hiroaki loredrop tw for hiroaki things
HIROAKI!! hiroaki was born in tokyo, specifically in the shibuya area, so hes always been living in a very urbanized and busy environment. he was a fairly normal and actually surprisingly boring child, but also very independent and didnt rely on his parents for some of the more basic parts of his life like getting to school and taking care of his needs and such. his parents were fine and he got along with them fine for the most part but he wasnt super close with them or anything. mostly co-existent! regardless: growing up in shibuya meant that he was around a lot of very interesting fashion that he was completely fascinated with. he eventually got into the habit of bringing a notebook with him when he took the bus to school every day and doodling any particularly interesting outfits he saw. this eventually bled into designing his OWN unique outfits during class instead of paying attention!! BECAUSE…..
HIROAKI GREW UP WITH VERY UNCHECKED ADHD. he was a super flighty child and didnt really pay attention in class because he just couldnt focus that well, especially if the topic wasnt super interesting for him. he did a lot of drawing and a lot of socializing, so those are the two things he ended up developing the most skill in. that said, he would get in trouble a lot for not paying attention in class and his grades were not fantastic, which upset his parents and had them nagging him fairly constantly to study and have better grades and pay more attention etc. etc. when really they maybe should have just gotten their son tested. anyway hiroaki persists with his not paying attention and his parents persist with their being very disapproving of his academic career!
hiroakis parents are not particularly invested in hiroakis interests at this point. they dont really care about fashion or his designs or any of that and would really prefer he just focus on school, so they dont really get invested in anything else he does. hiroaki is used to this from them - him and his parents are just not the same types of people at all so he never really tries to click with them - but regardless he continues drawing CONSTANTLY. hes just pumping out designs 24/7 because he loves it and hes passionate about it and its one of the only things that can hold his focus for a super extended period of time.
when hiroaki hits age eleven he decides its time to start realizing this hobby a bit further and he learns how to properly make a pattern and sew! this opens a WHOLE NEW WORLD for him. it blows his mind that he can make his drawings real. so now instead of just drawing all the time, hes constantly doing odd jobs around his neighbourhood to get enough money to buy new supplies and continue making outfits for himself. nothing else really matters at this point because he is fully invested and having a blast. grades continue to slip and his parents are not jazzed about it! when he hits middle school, his parents get a bit stricter. he needs to study, he needs to bring his grades up, no exception, no argument. so he loses some of his free time privileges because his parents are doubling down hard on making him study. he is PISSED about this and it drives a bit of a rift between him and his parents. hiroaki is a kid with very big dreams!! he wants to go into fashion and see other people wearing the things he designs!! he wants to make people feel confident in themselves!! his parents want him to have a more standard career that he'll actually be able to rely on. it is a conflict of interest. regardless back to the point: hiroaki is focused on academics for the time being and he is NOT HAPPY ABOUT IT.
key point: hiroaki's academic problems are only due in part to his obsession with fashion. the other part is, again, he has very unchecked ADHD! so he struggles HARD in the standard school environment and by thirteen hes in serious serious desperation for something that can help him. he does not understand whats wrong but he knows that he needs to be fixed so he starts looking for solutions. eventually this leads him to falling in with a bad crowd who insist that he can self-medicate with opioids and itll calm him down. hes thirteen and hes stupid and theyre all stupid because they are kids. regardless, he starts taking pretty low-level opioids and sees some success! hiroakis addictive personality kicks in and by the time hes fourteen hes a full blown opioid addict. needs them to do literally anything at this point. his parents are aware and concerned but also his grades are turning around so theyre not really sure how to react.
the OTHER thing that happened when hiroaki turned fourteen: his designs started BLOWING UP. by this point hes posting things online and people are LIKING IT. they start wanting to buy and he starts going full steam ahead on production. now his grades are slipping back down. parents are mad again! tension between hiroaki and his parents continues to build and his relationship with them continues to be not great. he doesnt really care: hes been independent his entire life and its paying off, so why should be bother paying attention to them now? he goes full force on building his brand and it pays off - soon the novelty of a kid his age being as talented as he is starts carrying him UP. hes getting interviews, hes getting invited to events, hes big news. hiroaki, very socially aware but also kind of a loner, does not know what to do with all this newfound fame and falls in pretty deep with his vices. hes hanging out with cool and popular people that do not have his best interest in mind. hes smoking because he thinks it looks cool because hes fifteen. he’s down a bad path.
this bad path culminates in hiroakis drug addiction getting a LOT worse. hes gone from opioids to help with focus to heroin to help him not have a complete panic attack at the massive amount of social pressure on his shoulders. while hes making a shit ton of money pumping out designs, he’s losing money FAST because he is BLOWING it on drugs. his friends think he’s cool and his parents don’t really notice so this goes pretty much unchecked, if not actually encouraged! eventually he’s doing so much heroin on a daily basis that he is not getting anything else done and he has a bit of a mental health spiral from here. his life is gonna fall apart and he knows it and he’s terrified. but as always, he is hiroaki nakamigawa and he is a lone wolf and he can handle this on his own! except no he cant and while he eventually gets himself on a much lesser dosage rate and focuses himself on art again, he still has a serious addiction to opioids and heroin. he doesnt really see it as an issue anymore because its not super obvious to the outside world and its not preventing him from designing, so its probably fine! everything is good and fine! except everything is not good and fine. the good and fine things: he is rich, he is successful, he is famous, he is doing everything he loves and he is living big in tokyo. the not fine: he is extremely anxious, missing any real connection in his life, very depressed and addicted to drugs! he is also SIXTEEN YEARS OLD so this whole lifestyle is a massive massive amount of pressure. hes a bit of an asshole but in his shoes its somewhat unavoidable. hes a dumb kid.
so age seventeen: hiroaki on an island of his own. same as always. hes finally not in debt anymore but hes on and off drugs about 90% of the time and has no real relationship with his parents anymore. the only things he cares about are the things that can give him something in return: his fame, his work, his drugs, his shitty friends. he makes a few attempts to turn his personal life around but ultimately deems it unnecessary because hes popular and rich so what could he be upset about? at this point in his life it’s easier to just repress. so he does! and then the killing game starts

chapter 5 trial spoilers
I can’t stop thinking about ojima and the way Hasegawa fucked with him cause it’s actually so insane that he pretended ojima grabbed his arm while he was out of it. so much so it made him paranoid and caused his dissociation to be even WORSE… like. WHAT. AND THEN MAKING HIM DRINK ALCOHOL. it’s so so fucked up and that’s just PART of his plan…. it’s so wild to notice how hasegawa lost his shit at Okazaki in chapter 3 for the fucked up shit she pulled, but eventually he stood in the same spot she did.
the audio drama format was so perfect to pull the ojima plotline off because none of us even thought he could be lying and we just had to ASSUME what Hasegawa was saying was true,,,, it’s something we definitely have to be aware cause taking what characters are saying at face value is not gonna be what’s happening and USGSHSH ITS SUCH A GOOD WAY TO USE THIS MEDIUMM
