Israel getting over 300+ votes on Eurovision is vile and disgusting.

My heart dropped when I heard about it, fucking evil in so many places in the world. I wanted to hope that it would not get support, at the very least. But no, Zionists had to make themselves known.

They may not have won, but remember, the support Israel received will directly or indirectly continue the suffering of Palestinians.

Russia was banned from participating 2 years ago.

There is no excuse for the hypocrisy of letting Israel participate.

With Mother’s Day coming up, I just want to give a shoutout to all of those who are low contact or no contact with their mother or mother figure. So many people say “but she’s your___!” and I’m sorry that they push that on you. You are completely valid if you need/want space from your mom and it doesn’t mean that you’re bad or anything like that. 

I also want to give a shoutout to those who have lost their mother/mother figure. Loss is hard and it can be traumatic and if Mother’s Day brings up bad feelings for you, you are so valid. 

If Mother’s Day is hard for you for whatever reason(s), you are completely valid and that’s okay.

I have worn my magen david and not had a single comment, from anyone— not Muslims, Christians, people wearing kufiyahs. I’ve been to protests and demonstrations, and never been more welcomed or felt so safe. Palestinians have hugged me, have shared food with me. Leftists have constantly held space to listen and to learn, to make room for changes and growth.

But you know what I have experienced? Jewish Zionists screaming at me, calling me shameful, Jewish Zionists on the internet debating the legitimacy of my Jewishness. I’ve been called kapo, k*ke and told I’d be r*ped by Hamas. I’ve had the most vitriol from ZIONISTS. I’ve faced the most antisemitism from Zionist Jews, and that makes me so inconceivably sad. I’ve been looked down upon and cursed at.

Zionism is not Judaism. Never will be.

So I found a hijab with the towels in the cabinet. It’s pink, pristine new and I’ve never seen it before. Neither have any of my household members. We are not religious or follow Muslim culture norms. An internet search tells me the hijab comes from a women’s clothing shop in Cairo. Neither of us have ever been to Egypt and besides, this has just appeared, it wasn’t there before. WTH?? Why? What? How?
