This is a bit of a sad post that I really debated back and forth on making, but I feel like it’s important to do so - one, to make clear that stealing from other creators is not ok in any shape or form, and two, to warn other writers who may suffer from this.

There is a Tumblr blog that has recently started posting a Niall fic that is remarkably similar to Kiss and Cry. Not in an abstract way -  I mean down to the plot, certain EXACT scenes, and a direct steal of the characterization/back story of the female lead. I’ve reached out to them to try to handle this one-on-one with my concerns, and have a mature conversation about it, because making a big drama ordeal isn’t really my thing, but they never responded – and then blocked me, which tells me that they know they got caught and aren’t willing to admit it.
