A mere fiction filled with realistic occurrences very well-written that it's impossible not to be evoked emotionally, or weigh up your own consciousness towards life.

Bigger and deeper than Gwansik and Aesun's life together, beyond the love they had for each other, it was the important people in their lives and the things they stood their grounds on that made living worth the fight. Composed of a child's approach, a parent's point of view, a lover's angle, and an individual's perspective, it did not fail to communicate its title. A top-notch demonstration that love is indeed choosing what & who are worth toiling yourself for, and that the fruit of life ultimately comes from how you see and value life itself.

I heard my workmate in a conversation with her mother who was probly in her mid 60s. Lianne's 31 & she asked her mother how she's cool with her not wanting marriage & not taking the field of her degree that could've made her & her daddy proud like they are on her bro. She's an archi grad but works in fashion industry in brand management dept. I was at the table behind them & her momma's response froze my own clock:

"Lee, your brother got married & had a kid at 23 because he wanted to. He's in Denmark with them because he found a job that made him who he is. If you felt yourself unfit for something but you want us proud so you went for it, you're that willing to fight against you than fight for your life. So I'm taking your choices as your desires because it means you know what you want. Take turns as many times as necessary but don't force yourself in a box just because you see others do well in theirs."

This isn't something that gets talked about a lot but it's actually brave to admit it loud when you feel that certain things are simply NOT for you. May it be a relationship, situation, course, a job or getting married or having kids, being honest with what u don't fancy to be in the cards is absolutely bold & it's okay. The world has billions of people but we're not all designated for the same route & destination. The path will only be grueling if you force your feet to walk in a shoes that isn't your size.

I quit fashion industry 3 months ago & am taking a vet med course. I'm more me. And when u know, u know.
