Just realized Sif has a scar from the Meta on his neck. That is such a nice detail I am frothing. This was such a cool update and I can't wait for more bugs!

Hi, me again! Had a new idea for the ISAT monster AU. Mainly, it can prevent Sif from looping when in the same room as it, so he (and by extension the player) can not simply "loop back". Oh, and it CAN walk into safe rooms if Sif tries to be themselves, so imagine the stupid adults event, but when Sif tries to go back in response, cue the monster standing behind them ready to kill.

Also, it's annoyed by Isa's inability to confess, and if it wasn't hyperfocused on murking Sif, it would absolutely take the chance just to beat up Isa once in the House.

ooooh, so time loop but with a giant terrifying obstacle. time loop with a "tsk tsk tsk" eldritch time monster. siffrin will probably actually either figure things out faster or slower depending on how this thing acts... (also, you should totally make your own post on this with all your ideas! I think people would love it!)

I'll give you what I have currently:

It's actually an incarnatiom of the Favor Tree, of evey Favor Tree, and is quite litterally baked into the game itself, and wants Siffrin to confess. Not just to loopin through time, but that there is litterally NOTHING after the end credits. It KNOWS it's part of a game and needs Siffrin to see that as well so it stops being so "selfish" and the player can enjoy a quirky game about slaying an antagonist and nothing else.

Oh, it's singlehandedly responable for deleting the Country and upholding the taboo to speak it's name. Hell, it straight up deletes the Daydreamer and nobody besides Siffrin knows she once existed.

Thats how powerful they are.

Ah, just for clarification, it is very much NOT a lost Siffrin. It IS however, more powerful then it looks.

As in, it can appear in the space the Change God takes Mira and Sif to, or even with Mal Du Pays. Trying to wish it away doesn't even phase it, and trying to avoid it will have it break out moment the door is open, like when Sif hangs out with Loop, showing up to kill them.

It can smell "sugar", and zeros in whenever Sif has a mini-loop to avoid talking about things. So not even denal can stop it.

Side note, it's annoyed by Isa's fear of commentment, as well as the party's assumptions. Of it could talk, and wasn't hyperfocused on Sif, it's dumpster Isa before bluntly telling him how much he sucks.

I still think the loop will definitely end earlier, because they can't just avoid telling the party what they wished for, can they?

My SASA theory has been badly busted so maybe it's yet another Siffrin pulling a Loop but during act 5 or smh? And they looped so much they just can't deal with Isabeau always hesitating anymore, or with Mirabelle not believing in herself, or Odile never being able to help them (they could never possibly be mad at Bonnie) but most of all hating that another Siffrin's going to make the same exact mistakes. I have beem enthralled by your Healer Cookie AU and wanted to ask: What would the other Beasts do if they were unsealed eariler and came to their Ancients while they were still in hiding, like Flour attacking the Wall to get at Cacao, Sugar luring Hollyberry away from the Kingdom that under seige by a dragon, and Spice attacking the virtual Golden Kingdom that GC is cooped up in?

Hii!! Ngl that's exactly the part I'm struggling to write lol. When it comes to Golden Cheese and her kingdom, it's pretty much obvious. She'd try to lock her Kingdom away and protect it on her own while the others.. are more complicated. Especially Dark Cacao's kingdom- I swear there are too much events and I'm lost when it comes to what to do with him- Also trying to fit it all into a coherent timeline, initially I wanted it to be according to canon but it's just to hard to deal with. So I'd say the beasts would escape right before when the Odyssey is supposed to happen or something like that?? I'm considering to have Hollyberry as one of the ancients who's willing to help the gang before her beast arrives (and the one who'd tell them where the Beast Yeast is cause she has knowledge about it)

Could see the Change God going nuts because nobody can/wants to act. Curious if it's due to a wish or some force preventing the party from meeting.

Okay I have an idea for an ISAT AU, let's see if I can articulate it:

A Housemaiden escapes the House of Dormont after great disaster. She knows not why she survived, or why she is running. Something happened and something must be done, but that is all she knows.

In Jouvente, a defender waits for something. A growing dissonance in the world around him, the way his colleagues look at him feels like something's being hidden. It seems like not a day has passed in a long time. How much longer does he have to wait?

The Researcher seems to know her purpose, to understand why she's here. She doesn't know why she's *now*. Something is wrong in the spirit, in the blood. Travelling from city to town, her heart weighs heavy with an expectation of someone. A kindred spirit, a hope? Who is she looking for?

Further away, someone has nothing better to do. There can't be anything better to do. Every path is walked without purpose, in search of a greater meaning that has been hidden from them. Who knows how long one can hold out?

There is nothing for the Kid to run away from. Nothing will change, nothing can. Telegraphs in negative, mouths trapped in static. We intrinsically understand the three-act structure, but cut out the beginning and nothing can be reached.

“A quest that can neither begin nor end. That is to say, it cannot succeed—but neither can it fail."

TL;DR, ISAT but the story metaphysically cannot start. Each character is stuck in the limbo between pre- and post-story, stagnant and aware that something is wrong, but not knowing how to act.

Completely understandable with Euphise. Mira least gonna have a consistant rival now for the story. And at least now the party is paranoid to be around strangers, cause amy chat with them ends with a Meta trying to choke-slam them mid talk.

Besides that, thumbs up. Looking forward to Sif trying to understand what's going on. Loop too!

Personally, still say you should've made Euphiase a pancake. Because I've seen Sif harm themselves to make stars.

But in terms of understanding... I say you should draw background characters a bit clearer. They look like undentifiable scribbleblobs and it's hard to tell where characters are. That's all I have. Other than that, looking forward to when the Butterfly threatens a child.

Also, is that ability solely for the Butterfly, so now everyone is paranoid to shop because it might jump them, or can Meta in general do that?

we really didn't deserve The Good Place. a bizarrely high-budget sitcom telling a longform, highly conceptual story that you need to have been watching from episode one, which was allowed to play out at its own pace and wrap things up when it intended to, and it didn't even lose steam over its four seasons. that's practically proof of the existence of a loving god
