@shortlethomes IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT It has been brought to our attention that a number of realtors are using the photos of our Shortlethomes to sell bookings for other Shortlets only for the guest to pay, show up and it’s not a Shortlethome. Some don’t even have a property to book and they are using the photos of our homes to collect funds, scamming people. This is how to protect yourself and not get scammed: 1. There is only one Shortlethomes and it’s this page. Talk to us directly. 2. We don’t use agencies or realtors. You can book directly with us or a verified host. 3. If someone claims to be a verified host, ask for their badge number and verify it directly on our site www.shortlethomes.net 4. If a verified host books you into a property that is not Shortlethomes, report them to us immediately. You will know easily by the standard of the property and our brand is in all documentations plus you make payments only to our parent company Digital Landlords account. If they give you a different account it’s a scam. 5. We have a very strict booking process and all guests must be vetted and sign a contract to treat our homes with care. If you are not being asked questions and all they want is for you to pay, it’s a scam.
