Everytime I read Claymore I just get enraged LIKE REALLY ENRAGED at Priscilla for killing Teresa. Like, I will never ever find sympathy for her in my heart because she killed THE BEST CHARACTER? I think the reason I like Clare is we feel EXACTLY THE SAME ABOUT TERESA and thus WANT REVENGE ON PRISCILLA EXACTLY THE SAME AMOUNT. I can never accept the anime ending because Teresa is the greatest thing in the universe ever and I just sobs I LOVE HER SO MUCH GUYS I HATE PRISCILLA SO MUCH. Clare and I could sit by the fire and talk about how great she is.

kill all the werewolves in NotB and keep the curse going (based)

make a deal with vaughan and leave shianni and other women to him

make a deal with alianage slavers, let them take elves and go

rat on soris so that the guards don't take you

leave redcliffe village to die

let branca have the anvil

let harrowmont be the king and start a war with ferelden (if you kept branca alive)

kill allllllll the mages in the tower including kids, old people and just innocent apprentices

let the architect go after he created the mother (and then SHE killed all the wardens in vigil's keep)

side with petrice and join her templars' anti-qunary rally in act 2

side with meredith and kill allll the mages in the gallows including kids, old people and innocent apprentices (even if you're a mage)

sell fenris back to slavery

force anders to side with the templars

side with a genocidal maniac celene or human supremist gaspard as an elf

work with chevaliers as an elf

tranquilize every single mage you judge in inquisition

like, the most obvious comparison to this post would be siding with the templars in dao. if that was a veilguard you won't be given an opportunity to even consider siding with them, let alone actually do it or explore why would a Warden want to side with them. nope, every companion would be shouting how you came to recruit mages and that's what you will do! like it or not, but it is exactly what killing the player choice is

"oh mah gawd the game is called veilGUARD" which is why it fucking sucks ass man :) which is why almost no one bought it and bw had no dlcs planned even before release :)

you see it's easy to say "it won't work with our game's message(((" or "it's too difficult concept to recreate((" but it's literally your job as an RPG dev to figure out how to do it and do it also inquisition literally had endings for every fuck up you can do in the main plot and warden can just fucking die.... welcome to the world of rpgs!

Tonight I am thinking about Dragon Age 2, a game in which you enter a city as an undocumented refugee, get hired in an exploitative job that almost kills you, run around the cities with your besties who are various persecuted minorities, try to save your family and fail, and watch the city around you slowly but inevitably slide into civil war.

No reason. Just thinking about it.

I think my biggest takeaway from Severance season 2 is that I love both Helly and Gemma so much I too would become a shell of a person in order to cope with the loss of one of them/and or have my heart break at 'I just wish we had more time', as evidenced by how I feel about being alive after Severance season 2

Every season I have an issue with one mark or the other but his LI's? Solid, 10/10, love them, perfect, crying

hmmm. thinking about how veilguard seems to subscribe more to the more traditional "video game as personal power fulfillment fantasy of heroism" than any other dragon age game, except perhaps origins, though origins does it more artfully.
