hey so lesboys and male lesbians aren't valid btw. if youre a man youre not a lesbian. period no conversation. the fact that there even has to be conversation over something so common sense just shows me the lack of critical thinking done in this community.

"im ftm" so youre still a man, or male aligned, and you aren't a lesbian if youre a man/male aligned. its okay to be straight, or pan, or bi, or anything else. you know that right.

either youre not a man and using the ftm label wrong , or youre not a lesbian. you dont get both, that isnt how it works.

are people just afraid to call themselves straight.

if you want inclusion make your own fucking label. nobody is saying you cant exist. nobody is saying you cant be how you are. we're just saying you're using the wrong labels and youre too self absorbed and rude to listen.

"but im nonbinary" so youre not a man, this post isnt about you.

"my pronouns are he/him but im a lesbian" pronouns dont equal gender this isnt about you.

"I identify as a lesbian" and you can identify as a toaster if you want. doesnt make you a toaster. for lack of a better blunt example.

im not even claiming that it hurts the community or that im bothered by it. it just makes you look stupid.

sincerely a gay trans man who has lesbian mothers and lives constantly surrounded by the REAL LIFE lesbian community. we're all looking at you like you have two heads and its not a compliment. just use a different label. either youre not a man, or youre not a lesbian. do you even know what lesbian means. if so then get a reality check and stop being weird.

and honestly yeah it kind of does hurt the community. youre like the endos of the osdd/did community, you make people look stupid. you open the gateways to male invasion in a women's safespace. make. your. own. label. stop calling yourself lesbian.

and dont even get my started on the misandry some people throw around.

"misandry isnt a problem" oh really. so you dehumanize men because you believe men aren't as important as you or dont experience hate while youre actively being a bully to them. how about take away the gender separation and just focus on the fact that hate as a whole is a problem.

"men's mental health month isnt important, its pride month" how about we stop separating it by gender and just focus on the fact that mental health is important PERIOD.

The newer more correct term for it would technically be "OEA", meaning Organized and Extreme Abuse.

That being said, if a survivor personally believes the label "RAMCOA" - meaning extreme cases of ritual abuse mind control and organized abuse - pertains to them and they prefer to use that, then they can. Because its their trauma and they have the right to refer to it as such. Others wrongfully could associate it with "satanic ritual abuse" which is obviously incorrect and a stigma. But in the end it is your trauma to hold and define. If you experienced ritualistic abuse in other forms and prefer RAMCOA as a term, you can use it. The acronym itself doesn't mention satanism.

This user is uncomfortable with the origin of the acronym and its history. And thats fine, thats their personal qualm. If youre worried about the history as well, you can use the acronym "OEA" instead.

Also a little note that sharing your traumas online regarding RAMCOA/OEA can be self harmful, be safe with who you tell and how much information you share and as always with extreme abuse cases if you believe you are currently being abused or have experienced OEA in the past and need support please utilize hot lines, local police and mental health professionals if you are ever in need of immediate support and help.

am not RAMCOA n have only heard some stuff about it so just lil confused !

“RAMCOA” itself as an acronym started as political propaganda during the Satanic-Panic Era .

While I believe the abuse behind the acronym (extreme cases of abuse such as trafficking , cults , etc.) are obviously real & horrific things that happen ,

Every medical professional that’s said their patients were “RAMCOA victims” and whatnot , were sued for medical malpractice , the stories under this label just don’t line up — it feels like a buzzword to me now , especially because no one can provide any reliable sources that don’t come from someone with malpractice issues , or a carrd/rentry (which you should never trust websites that could be altered by anyone/made by everyone for medical things !)

So basically , yes I believe the abuse the acronym encompasses is real , but the terminology is just propaganda to me . There’s nothing of substance to it that is reliable . It’s like how “Obsessive Love Disorder” as a term isn’t real , it’s just the symptoms to other disorders such as Borderline Personality Disorder !
