A WIP for my sewing class this semester.

You could call this Worm fanembroidery.

The White Lady.

Visions of things to come.

Practicing drawing embroidery with some more Gondolindrim. Not completely settled on what style of clothes, let alone appearance beyond that. I've heard that Idril/Celebrindal is kind of underappreciated out here, which surprises me. IMAGE ID: A copic marker illustration of Idril, an Eldarin princess. Wasn't sure if I'd ever finish Lord of the Rings, never even thought I'd start the Silmarillion, but here we are. Everyone's favorite problematic Gondolim resident.

Just finished my latest weaving, another challah cover! Now up on my Etsy.

Another weaving done! Another challah (cover), another dollar. Reach out to me if you’re interested in buying this or commissioning one, I’d love to do more!

Well, it’s mostly done anyway. I still need to trim some ends and adjust whatever it is I’m doing with the tassels. But this was so much easier and faster even with a waaaay thinner yarn, so I’m very excited to get back to my complete stash. It was supposed to be twill, but I’m not sure I did it right— I realized too late you were supposed to offset it by one each row. I think it looks nice anyway.

I wove a challah cover! This is my first time trying to weave anything circular, so the pomegranate is a little wonky, haha.

I know I haven’t posted art in ages, I’ve been busy working on an embroidery project and that takes a ~lot~ longer than illustration. But made sure to take some time to bring you guys yet another Tattletale.

The front and back of my final project for my comics class this semester! Not super in love with how the actual comic turned out, I didn't finish it and it was super unclear to my classmates, but I did an adaptation of the first few chapters of The Darkest Minds by @alexandrabracken ! AKA, my favorite book ever. I'm pretty happy with these, at least. The color symbolism of Ruby being surrounded by green in front of an orange background and the Black Betty shot having a yellow and blue sky is very intentional.
