I wanted to draw Aredhel in full armor, then realized armors are not very practical if you are an archer and ended up going for a lazy mix. She wears archery gloves and arm guards in both hands since I read once that elves are ambidextrous and I don't know if that was canon or headcanon, but it's canon to me now. Also, the feathers on the arrows are from barn owls, which I somehow asociate with her.

Aquilegia: the Aquilegia flower symbolizes aspiration, endurance, ascension, risk-taking, good fortune, faith, and peace and comes from the Latin word Aquila meaning eagle.

Blue: blue is a color of open space and therefore can symbolize freedom, intuition, imagination, inspiration, and understanding.

White: white often symbolizes perfection, the good, honesty, a beginning, the new, neutrality, and exactitude.

it's a bit hard to see in this, but she's got a scar below her right nipple (it's a hc of mine that she had the right breast removed for archery reasons, bc she's dramatic like that.) Kept the left one for sexy reasons.

Fingon: Turgon are you going for a run?

Turgon: (nods and disappears out the door)

Elenwë: Have fun!

Aredhel: Okay, what is up with Turgon? Are you guys okay?

Elenwë: Turgon is going for a run - if anything we should be asking what is right with him?

Fingon: (pacing)He only goes for runs when he’s upset and he’s wearing his ‘sad’ hoodie and by the looks of things it’s been washed which is bone chilling 

Finrod: I JUST SAW TURGON! ON THE STREET!! RUNNING!!!

Elenwë: Ooookay, maybe I was wrong…

Finrod: TURGON!! ARE YOU OKAY!?! I SEE YOU!! AND I LOVE YOU!!!!!

Elenwë: in my defence, no one in this family (sighs) emotes in a normal way

I think Aredhel is one of very few people who ever managed to make Celegorm go "are you sure about that" while telling him about fun plans and ideas she had

This might be one of my favourite photos ever, because it simple captures what is real for us.

This tension,those feelings,when you don't need to pretend anything.

I feel blessed to have these emotions captured in a picture.
