it wasn't unusual for the boys not to answer your texts. you knew they were busy and didnt mind it. what was unusual was for all of them to be unresponsive for the entire day. knowing their tendencies to overwork themselves you give chan one last call that goes unanswered. concluding that 3racha has locked themselves in the studio you head over to the closest convenience store picking up some coffees and a couple of snacks before heading over. you sent one more text saying you were on your way but it went unread. now youre outside the studio lightly knocking waiting to be let in. after waiting a minute with no reply you enter on your own and are greeted by the familiar sight.

chan was behind the desk, headphones on, completely focused. bin was recording, messy hair, trying to figure out what intonation to use on the next verse. jisung was passed out on the couch in the back, his phone in his hand still on and open to the last mobile game he was playing. not wanting to disturb the scene, you enter slowly and close the door quietly behind you. after taking a minute to appreciate them you bring your bags over to the table on the side and begin separating the drinks for each member. at this point chan noticed you and had taken off his headphones and made his way over to you to help out. after seeing how many messages he missed from you he smiled slightly embarrassed by how engrossed he got in his work. you didnt mind though, it was one of the things that you most admired about him. after getting the snacks sorted out chan takes his drink in one hand and your hand in his other and leads you back over to the desk where he unplugs his headphones so you can listen to the song that theyre currently working on. at this point bin had finished up his current project and came out of the booth to join the rest of you. giving you a small smile he walks over to the snack table, grabs what you had set aside for him, and returns to listen to the track with you and chan. rather than pull up another chair he sets his drink down next to you and moves to stand behind you. his arms draped over your shoulders and his weight leaning forward on you, he continues until you feel his chin rest on top of his head. you close your eyes to embrace the feeling while the rest of the track plays. everything you feel is comforting. the vibrations through the table of chan tapping along to the song, bins warmth behind you, his weight shifting as he sways back and forth, the peaceful and steady breathing of jisung passed out on the couch. when the song finishes you open your eyes and look at chan finding him already looking at you wide-eyed curious for your approval. you smile at him and hes satisfied with your response, going to plug the headphones back in and switch places with bin. as the other two get back to work you turn your attention to exhausted boy in front of you. his jacket is half hanging off his lap despite the blanket resting beside him. with how often one person or another ends up dozing on the couch you brought over one of your own blankets and left it at the studio a while ago. not that they ever remember to use it. you slide the jacket off his lap and unfold your blanket, making sure the softer side rests against his skin. after making sure hes covered well and tucked in you run your fingers through his hair, moving the few strands away from his eyes. still mostly asleep he leans into your touch as your hand traces its way from his hair to caress his cheek. he leans into you more and you bring your other hand up so you can cup his face in your hands. hes warm. after lightly squeezing both of his cheeks you remove your hands, to which he slightly pouts. you join him on the couch and after a brief internal debate decide to lay on top of him. he stirs slightly adjusting to the new position. one of his arms finds its way around your back and with your head on his chest you drift to sleep too, your breathing finding rhythm with his.

later you wake up to find yourself alone in the studio, blanket tucked around you. sitting up you notice jisungs jacket under your head as a makeshift pillow. blinking slowly you look over to the side table and find your phone charging. unlocking it opened a selfie that chan took while you were sleeping on jisung. bin was in the corner doing something on his phone. smiling you checked the messages you had missed during your nap. the boys thanked you for coming over. as you were getting ready to get up and head home you noticed something left on chans desk. upon further investigation you realize that this time they had left you snacks and a little note next to it. opening the note it had one small message scrawled on it.

slipping the note in your pocket you yawn and make your way back over to the couch. after curling up comfortably you started to drift back to sleep, thinking of the photo chan had taken hearing a faint echo of boys laughter as you doze off once more.
