this is a will byers appreciation post. im here to say i love that dude; i love his mental resilience, i love his emotional strength, i love how much he cares for his his mother and brother (and how much they love him back), i love how much he trusts his friends and protects them when he can. after everything he’s been through, it would be impossible to not love him. he’s dealing with a lot of things no one else in the party has to contend with, a combination of trauma and struggling with personal identification in the face of not being “normal” after, you know, being lost in the upside down for a week and being possessed by a literal demon that is still out there tormenting him. so yes, i love will!! and i want nothing but the best for him by the end of this story!! thank you for coming to my ted talk
