Hope everyone had a happy Imbolc! I decided to spend the day getting things done, starting off with a soulmate jar! The ritual took very little time and was such a wonderful process, if anyone is interested in a recipe I’ll post it on here later.

Hex Jar Recipe

Hello my loves, I recently created and used this hex jar recipe to take care of a rather unsavory person in my life. Please note that intention is everything in the craft, my intentions were to right the wrongs that this person committed. Do not take this lightly (I am not personally responsible for the outcome of your hex!) I have also included a way to undo your hex at the end of the post if necessary, practice with precaution babes!

Ingredients to go in the jar:

Victim’s name written on paper

An item from the victim

Dirt of any kind (but use dirt from an unsavory individual’s grave for best results)

A singular rock

Spit (yes you will be spitting into a jar)

Red wax

Black string/twine/etc.

Smoke

Ingredients for ritual:

(Please note for all of my broke/baby witches, if you do not have one or more of the crystals listed, feel free to supplement with what you have! Don’t forget to do your research, and to cleanse your crystals after your hex jar is complete)

-Obsidian (to protect casters from subject)

-Quarts crystal (for amplification)

-Amethyst (to bring out oversensitivity and self trauma)

-Diamond (for chaos and confusion)

-Pyrite (for money and luck issues/to draw money and luck from one used and bring it to another)

-Kyanite (to get into your victim’s head)

Procedure:

1. Arrange your crystals upon your altar in whatever fashion you see fit, make sure that the pattern speaks to you. Once that is done place your candle, and container for the hex in the center.

2. Light your candle and swiftly blow it out, allow the smoke to fill whatever container you chose for your hex jar. Smoke is sometimes used for purification, in this case it is used to cloud your victims mind and judgement, as well as to insure that they cannot see who is casting the hex; this will protect the caster/casters. Put a cover on the jar and let the smoke set until step 4. Relight your candle directly afterwards.

3. Take the paper with your victim’s name on it, as well as the item taken from them. Take whatever twine/string/yarn you intend to use, and tie the items together tightly. With each knot you create think of how your victim has wronged you, this is where your intent will be exerted. Once you have knotted the items together 6 times, stop.

4. Open your jar, as the smoke pours out place your tied items and put them into the jar. Next place your dirt into the jar, this is to ground the individual, but also functions as burying them in troubles.

5. Place your small stone of choice into the jar, this will be the pit of your victims worries/troubles. It will weigh heavily on your victim.

6. Spit into the jar, spit is a powerful intention and is often used as a quick curse. Mentally gather your vitriol and expel it into the jar.

7. Put a lid back onto the container, and seal it in place with your wax. As you do so you have the option to speak aloud your intentions, be sure to finish with “So mote it be”

8. Optional step, write a sigil upon the container to further incur torment.

Keep the jar somewhere safe and hidden, i recommend a closet, attic, basement, etc. DO NOT BURY OR LOSE YOUR JAR, there may come a time when you feel the need to undo your hex.

To undo the hex: Break the jar and scatter the remains in any nearby woods/stream to cleanse the items. Undo all knots, as you do so think positively, explain that you feel that you have been avenged. Feel free to carry selenite.

As i love creating new spreads relating to nowadays problem, or simply to amplify my understanding of the Arcana, I love using spreads from the ancient tradition, which teached me the “Language” of the cards.

About this spread

The book my mother gave me when I was a teen was Written by G. Gallinari, a lesser known Italian occultist. He recorded Tarot spreads and meanings by legends and tradition, from the gypsies to Crowley, and created his own synthesis for the divination of cards. Not everything he said about the argument is 100% precise, but he nailed a lot of mechanic for the reading, deck managment, and most important creating the suggestion in the consultant. This is the simplest spread recorded from him: in a later post i will show the full spreading. You can take this spread as a training mostly, or a universal archetype for responding someone’s questions.

Always remember: shuffle the Minors and the majors separately! I will create a post in which i’ll explain everything about “manteinance” of your deck.

I don’t really know what people generally call this method of sigil making, so I’m just calling it “Letter Shaping” because you’re using the basic shapes from certain letters. This is the most common form of sigil making, and it allows the most creative influence. As you see above the sigils are for nearly the same thing, yet the sigils came out completely different. Not because the purpose was different, but because I approached them both a different creative way, and that’s what I like so much about this method. There’s a lot of freedom and personalization involved.

magick spiced hot cocoa

during the colder months, a cup of hot cocoa can bring wonderful warmth and coziness. you can add a few spices to bring magick into the mug that inspires happiness, healing, and self-love. you will need:

☾ ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder (self love and grounding)

☾ ½ cup granulated sugar (granting wishes)

☾ 1/3 cup hot water

☾ ¼ tsp salt

☾ 4 cups milk (dairy or non-dairy)

☾ 1 tsp vanilla extract (love, restoring lost energy)

☾ 1 tsp fresh orange zest (abundance and happiness)

☾ a pinch of ground nutmeg (attracting prosperity)

☾ a pinch of allspice (warmth and healing)

combine the cocoa, sugar, salt, nutmeg and allspice with the water in a pot over medium heat. stir constantly until the mixture boils; continue stirring constantly for 1 more minute.

stir in the milk and continue to heat the mixture, without letting it boil. remove from heat and add vanilla and orange zest. serve immediately.

Eucalyptus Vapor Rub Balm

Here’s a natural alternative to relieving colds, coughs, and flus! After making this, you’re going to want to toss that Vicks in the trash! This balm can be made many ways with other EOs to assist with the healing process of suffering from a cold, but the main ingredient that helps open up the sinuses and steer clear of bacteria is Eucalyptus!

Ingredients:

1 Tablespoon Beeswax (candelilla wax for vegan alternative)

3 Tablespoons Coconut Oil (or any other Oil)

1 Tablespoon Shea Butter (or any other butter)

½ Tablespoon Eucalyptus Essential Oil (depending on quality)

Everyone prefers different consistencies and depending on the temperature in your home, you may need to play around with the portion of the oils and wax.

How to make it:

Begin by adding all the ingredients into a double boiler. To do this, simply place a pan(with a little water in it), on the stove and add a pot, bowl or mug into the pan. With the stove on medium heat, start by adding the wax first (since it takes the longest to melt) into your bowl, then add Shea Butter, and then the oils. Stir until all ingredients are completely mixed and melted. Turn heat off, pour into containers and let cool! That’s it!

How to use it:

I like to wear this balm on my chest and rub onto my nostrils before bed. It can be worn during the day but be careful and be sure to wash your hands before touching your mouth or eyes after use.

About Eucalyptus:

Eucalyptus is widely known to be used for respiratory complaints, coughs, arthritic aches and pains because of it’s antiseptic, antibiotic, and expectorant properties. This oil forms Ozone, which specifically destroys bacteria, fungi, and viruses. An infusion can be made with leaves and taken internally to acute stages of chronic coughs, colds, and flus. Most commonly, the oil is rubbed directly on the chest or back for all respiratory problems. It can also be similarly rubbed as a liniment for the relief of arthritis and rheumatic pains.
