A Warning to new witches
Reading makes you smarter. But reading does not mean you are smart. This applies to those who read occult texts as well. Just because it is about magic and witchcraft, does not mean you are smart to read it. Be discerning of authors, publishers, and wording. You should not judge a book by its cover but you SHOULD judge a book by its title. be cautious of books using words like ____ Magic(k). The overuse of adjectives to describe types of witchcraft are purely used to make books attract crowds who follow trends. An example would be "Lunar Magick" which is a title to over 200+ books on amazon. They use these names to get your money for very little information. Most of these self published books are plagiarized or just watered down versions of actual grimoires with a historical basis. Be perceptive. And if you struggle to discern if a book will be good or not, ask me! I try to read the shitty throw away books just so I can help educate my mentees on what to NOT do. Know your enemies including bad authors. (Matt auryn is one of these bad authors. No matter how popular "psychic witch" is.

You're Iced Out
A hex for complete social isolation
Do you have a problematic coworker, a friend who always causes drama in your group, or just someone you think deserves to be lonely?
You Will Need
A large bowl
Water
Salt
Three pennies or coins with faces
A poppet
Red yarn or string
A Taglock of your target
This Sigil
 “You’re Iced Out.”
Tumblr media
Step 1
Take the pennies and freeze them into ice cubes so that when they are submerged in water later, they can be arranged more accurately.
Step 2
Prepare your bowl. Add a copy of the ‘you’re iced out’ sigil to the bottom of the bowl. Take the poppet, add your taglock. The heavier the poppet the better for this spell, perhaps weight it down with some rocks or sand.
Step 3
Arrange the coin/ice cubes in a circle in the bowl, make sure the faces are looking outward, toward the rim of the bowl.
Wrap the body of the poppet in the red yarn. Reflect on the behaviors you wish to punish in your target. Then, unravel the yarn and place the poppet in the bowl between the ice cubes. Imagine them friendless, alone, and completely isolated from all support. No family, no friends, no coworks, no peers. They’re naked in the cold. Dunk the poppet in water so that it is completely saturated. (To ensure it doesn’t float to the top) Then, rub the entire body in salt. (Be careful not to burn your hands when handling ice and salt)
Step 4
Fill the entire bowl with water and leave to freeze. Ideally this will be kept in your freezer until you feel that the target has suffered enough and learned a lesson.

Things to add to your baneful workings that really give them a nice kick ✨
Rusty nails
Anything insanely spicy
Dead bugs
Bodily fluids (specifically ones that aren't so good-smelling)
Poisonous plants (handle with care)
Taglocks
Poppyseed (creates confusion)
Broken glass
Handle all of these things with care and make sure to wash your hands afterward as well as cleanse your space AFTER you've done a baneful working!
You do not HAVE to cleanse beforehand, in fact I don't recommend it because it gets rid of all the negative energy you would need for that baneful magick. However, if you do or did that's alright, everyone practices in different ways and I'm just writing here what has worked for me!

Reflection Spell - A spell to make a person realize how they hurt you
Ingredients
2 mini mirrors ( you can get them from micheals and also use a compact mirror) write the name of the person and what they did to you. Ex, persons name realizes how their words hurt me (you can choose to say your name or not). On the other mirror do a sigil either to banish them from harming you, protection or for realization.
Tip: cleanse mirrors before using them
Thyme for healing and protection.
Cloves for removing pain and stopping negativity energy from harming you. Also a good anti-gossip herb.
Garlic for a little kick and breaking down negative mindsets
Sage for reflecting on actions and healing
Tip: If you want some extra spice and a little bit of karma on the person add red chili pepper flakes or anything else spicy
1 small candle for sealing the two mirrors and herbs together use red, black or white and inscribe a sigil or rune on the candle.
After you have all your herbs sandwiched in between the mirrors facing each other seal together the mirrors and imagine your intent while doing it.

"Hostile spells made by a koldun may in fact be simple poisoning (and indeed malefic magic and poisoning are so often linked both in Russia and elsewhere that it is clear that for many people they could hardly be distinguished as suspected causes of illnesses) usually include a spoken or whispered spell, and may also include magical ingredients such as herbs or roots, or, as in the case quoted above, graveyard earth, or parts of human bodies, or "dead soap" which has been used to wash a corpse, or water which has been used to wash a corpse (a specific employed by women for reducing breasts thought to be of excessive proportions) or a "dead candle" made from human fat from graves which will send to sleep or kill.
A similar belief would seem to lie behind an English newspaper report in 1889 of trial in Kursk in which four peasants were convicted of chopping up a girl of eleven to make tallow candles which would enable them to carry out burglaries unseen; the court was told this belief was very widespread in Russia.
"Dead candles" were not the only ones with magical power; in fact any church candle, like other Christian ritual objects could be used for magical purposes, as is evident elsewhere in this book. For malefic magic they could be placed upside down and a memorial prayer offered for the victim (a variety of cursing by inversion of a Christian practice)."

Free Magic Classes from holyshiftsis holyshiftsis has recently changed their magical path and now have all their magic classes up for free! I learned a lot from the classes I took from them so I highly recommend watching through these! Also, if you are interested in decolonizing Christianity and a POV that is NOT an old white republican, I recommend subscribing to her substack Shifted Sanctuary. I'm posting them here as a resource because I personally like their work and as a compilation since the videos are unlisted on the yt.

Book Review: The Little Book of Curses and Maledictions for Everyday Use
Tumblr media
This is: The Little Book of Curses and Maledictions for Everyday Use by Dawn Rae Downton Rating: 2/10 I really don't know what I expected going into this, but yet again this proves making up your own spellwork instead of following a spellbook is your best friend. Especially with hexing/left handed work.
Pros: The information about reversing/cancelling a hex is pretty spot on I think? I like the way the author explains what should warrant some cursing and what shouldn’t. To exhaust all options first. Which I 100% agree with. The author also uses poppets, which I do as well. Her method of making them is simple and easy to do. A good portion of the book seems hand-crafted/not stolen, which is a major plus for me, even if she does appropriate more towards the end of the book.
Cons: There is no sources listed. Absolutely none at all. Even for a book from 2009 this is an absolute sin in writing an informational text. There is NO excuse, especially when the author mentions numerous spirits that even with a good google produces little to no results.
The author's wording is also a bit suspect, which 2009 I know the g-slur, white and black magic talk, etc was super common then so I'm not holding that against her, but the bits about “Get his head examined and get unseated from his job” kinda…weirded me out? Maybe it’s because I’m neurodivergent myself but it feels like mental health is kinda damned in this book. Her lack of explaining things really sticks out. She does not explain why you use what you use.
For example:
Some of the spells don’t make a lot of sense, like “The Promise Keeper” on page 60. Who are you summoning? The person’s soul who betrayed you? Is it really so easy to rip the soul out of someone and bring it to you directly? Then the one invoking Rae and Skogsraet for being in collateral damage between two parties?? What is THAT going to do? There’s no rhyme or reason for the spell at all. (And this is a folkloric piece which I do use folklore in my work but not like this, not so…literally.)
She also misuses symbols a few examples…a Christian punk symbol is used as a summon symbol for a spirit. And the Gemini symbol is one of 4 used to summon one of the demons mentioned in the Lesser Key of Solomon.
Her information is also pretty dubious at best, claiming that Iwo is a deity/spirit when it's more of a…Greek ideology. The Celtic curse she mentions in the book isn't one I could find any information on despite her calling it an ancient Celtic one. Same for the Pollard curse she mentions, I cannot for the life of me find any information about a famous Blackguard named Pollard in British history. She appropriates from Jewish Mysticism, Hinduism, and actively blends in Thelema into the rest of the book as well. The part appropriating Jewish Mysticism calls it an "ancient egyptian summoning of angels" when the angels mentioned are…definitely not something from Egypt. I recognized some as Christian archangels, but the rest were all strictly Jewish angels.
I also understand my moral code is going to be different from an author's, that's alright. But the wording on some of the spells is…laughable. I will provide some examples! Love spells are one thing, spells to isolate your significant other are another and this book has a bit of both.
In short: Can't recommend this book, did give me a few laughs and a couple days worth of googling.
Some examples of the book that was appropriative and/or confusing/stuck out to me as strange or laughable. Peek that one crossroads curse to rid your computer of viruses!

Be very, very careful releasing your spells into nature. Once you give something to the Earth, or to a river, or a tree, you don't control it anymore. Nature will decide what happens. You might not be able to bear the responsibility.

Part 2 of Basic Hexing Gen 1 Tutorial.
Okay so last time, on PART 1 We were coloring our golden retreiver.
If you haven't read through Part 1 I recomend going BACK with this link and doing so.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Dont forget to rotate the modle so you don't miss any ballz, they like hiding.
Tumblr media
If you want to change the tongue and whiskers(chihuahuas and catz) you'll have to select them on the left ballz selector and hit they apply all. They're too hidden to see in PW
Tumblr media
In your left handed tabs hit the eyes. These squares will let you change eye colors and eyelid color.
Tumblr media
Now in the little drop down menu on the top menu we want to go to Paintballs!
Tumblr media
The first thing you're going to do is select a ball you want to add a paint ball on. Notice everything that is a paintball is visble even on ballz not selected. This is good to see where you have paintballz since they can hide, but it also can be a pain in the butt if you have a lot of paint ballz(for example a paint ball merel or tortie) to see what you're doing.
Tumblr media
On the top menu you want to hit the button that says "add"
Tumblr media
I think by now we're familar with the color selecting in the bottom menu. Though, please note there are 2. One is for out lines. It's not common to put outlines on paintballz but it can most defitly be fun to do so! You can also choose if the paint ballyou're adding is above or under all the other paint ballz. ANd the size. SIZE is a percentage of the BALL IT IS BEING PUT ON. So a size 30 on the shoulder ball, is a lot bigger than one on a toe ball. The fuz is how smooth the lines are around the paint ball. The bigger the number the fuzzier it is. You will rotate the modle to change the position of the paint ball. When it is where you want it...
Tumblr media
Hit that place button!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
They're always a circle. If you want them to be lop sided you'll have to stack them.
Tumblr media
Selecting the select again will let you select a new ball to add paint ballz too.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Got everything placed the way you want? GREAT! Remember to save the file. See the paint ballz covering the paw pads? The only reason I move the paw pads up above the other paint ballz.
Feel free to open the game and take a look at what you have so far! Please note that the paint ballz are not yet anchored so it's not 100% acurate.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now we go back to LNZ! Also open the Anchor utility(TRUST ME! You don't want to anchor ballz by themselves!
Tumblr media
So firs things firs, find your [Paint Ballz] Section in LNZ
Tumblr media
You can divide them up using the semi colon method if you want so it looks more like this instead.
Tumblr media
Now in anchor utility you're going to put each color number you used on the paint ballz you want anchored into one box per color of the "color selection"
Tumblr media
Then you're going to put the desired textures, your texutre list can be found in lnz or in PW under the tab menue where it says texture. Your texture list starts at number 0 then add one for each line.
Tumblr media
This file has 0, 1, and 2. In the "textured desired" collum you'll put the corresponding texture you want next to the boxes by the color. I want them all to have hair10 so I'm going to put "0". Note you can also do -1 as the texture if you want no texture.
Tumblr media
From there you want to copy the paint ballz you want to anchor from LNZ(I cut them out of the file) and then paste them in the small box above where it says "anchor away!"
Tumblr media
Then hit "Anchor Away!"
Tumblr media
Copy and paste the whole big box back into LNZ from where you took it from!
Tumblr media
If it gives you an extra blank line, delete it.
Tumblr media
OH no something went wrong!
This was the mustashe. Which was 48 not any of the colors I chose. I know I want the mustashe to be a different color though! So I'll change it first.
Note this error will pop up for EVERY paintball that doesn't have a color in the list.
Tumblr media
I mentioned I don't want the paint ballz on the toes over the toe beans, that means I'm going to select that entire selection and cut it. Then paste it again at the top.
Tumblr media
So now the toe beans will be on top of every other paint ball.
There is one more thing I like to do with the nose before I finish. I don't like the nose having textures on any of the ballz. SO I go to the "ballz info" in lnz
Tumblr media
I scroll down until it says "nose (bottom)"
Tumblr media
That very last number? That's the texture. I change it to -1. AND DONE!
Don't forget to save your work before you close and bring your new pet out in game!
You will be getting them from the adoption center just like any other adoption!
And because of the image per post limit...watch out for post 3 which will have the final results!
SEE THE RESULTS HERE!

Hexing, evil eye and everything harms
So, I recently got hexed and talked about it, and I think this is a great time for me to talk about what hexes are and how to protect yourself from them, as a continuation of my two protection posts.
First, what is baneful magic ?
In the dictionary :
Baneful : Causing harm, ruin, or death; harmful. Portending harm; ominous. Having poisonous qualities; deadly; destructive; injurious; noxious; pernicious.
Usually, what people call baneful is actually super relative to culture, religions and individual practice. it can includes : hexes/curses/jinxes, love spells, domination spells, blood magic, binding, banishing etc. There is a lot of rhetoric from different people that try to keep people away from these spells. For example the rule of Three, which states that everything you put out comes back three times, is a Wiccan religious belief that is in no way applicable to all witches. Some people's views of "karma" or other "universal justice" ideas. I am personally of the opinion that, if your guide and your moral compass agree, there is nothing wrong with giving universal justice a little boost with a bit of a reasonably measured hex. But as a general thing, it should take place in an informed, cultivated practice and not just a "i'm mad at my ex so i'm gonna pick this random tiktok spell i saw and write his name on it". No. That is the best way to get yourself in trouble.
What is a hex ?
A hex is, at its core, someone sending negative or unwanted energy your way. We can commonly see a few types of hexes:
The Evil Eye, the most common, easiest one, that everyone probably got at one point in their life. At its core, the Evil Eye is about people wishing ill intent on you from seeing you succeed. As an example, I made eye contact with someone that was jealous of me while i was on stage and i almost tripped on a floor that had no reason to make me trip. It is usually considered to be easy solved by not showing your achievements you know are jealous, basic cleansing, throwing salt over your shoulder, using a talisman etc. I'm pretty sure most if every culture has a concept of evil eye so look into what you resonate with best (in the limits of what is open to you).
The Jinx: it's almost the cute version of an hex ? It's like causing a bit of a bad luck, like missing the bus, breaking your phone screen, missing an appointment etc. it tends to not last very long, a few hours or so.
The hex: it is both a general term and what people tend to do. It's the " can't keep one up with a new gf", "have constant bad breath", "flat tire", "might lose your job" one. it can wildly vary in intensity depending on your current protection, how close the target and practionner are and the nature of the spell. The Curse: This is when shit goes DOWN DOWN. Generational trauma typa shit, illnesses might pop up typa shit, divorce typa shit. To this day, I have never seen anyone being truly cursed. Usually the energy ends up being transformed into lessons for the descendants or the target after a while, and its goal it to point out specific toxic behaviors or issues rather than just cause chaos.
How to cast a hex ?
I am pretty sure i answered a ask about this once, my goal here is not exactly to give a recipe for all hexes but at least guidelines so you know how to start and where to look. Hexes, just like all spells, are about creating an energy and sending it. In this particular case, it is about creating "mud" and throwing it at someone. Here is the thing: you cannot throw mud without getting your hands dirty. How dirty your hands get depend on what you are throwing, if you are taking precautions and how much you are cleaning after. I know it gets told time and time again, but don't do a hex as your first spell if you dont have a good handle yet on protection and cleansing spells. The reason why they are recommended for beginners is because they are easy, don't typically explode in your face easily, and they are diverse, therefore allowing you to test out what you vibe with and don't. Also, they teach you necessary skills. Otherwise, it works as any other spell. If you do it with leeway for the universe (and you take precautions and cleanse) the cost for you will probably be energy, headache etc. If your goal is to specifically make a certain situation happen for someone, it will require a sacrifice on your part, that you may not have control over. I am currently being coached and taught about spellwork, so in a few months I might revisit this post and explain things differently and add more info.
How to know you have been hexed ?
If bad shit starts happening out of nowhere, it might be worth asking the question.
Here is a list of things I have experienced or have seen people experience from being hexed:
nightmares
sleep paralysis
bad luck
fire alarms going of at specific hours
people being unusually mean or intolerant to you
getting weird or scary visions (VISIONS, not hallucinations, if you are not intuitive this does not apply, if this is not already in your belief system this does not apply)
stuff falling, breaking, not working, getting lost etc
having difficulty reading, channeling
feeling blockages
getting sick, nauseous, getting a migraine, getting a crisis of an already existing illness
getting into arguments
protections and wards acting weird
pets acting weird
The thing is, any number of those things can happen for a hundred reasons that are not even remotely spiritual. If there is another possible explanation, check it first. I promise you it is a lot more likely than someone hexing you.
Okay, so now i know i got hexed what do i do ?
Congrats you got hexed.
Start by not panicking.
Even though it sounds scary, it is probably a lot easier to get rid of it than you think. You can start by checking my protection 101 and protection 102. Cleanse deeply yourself, your room and your spirit and add some protections. Once it is done, if you still feel negative energy around, you can try cleansing one more time, or it may mean your guides are inviting you to look into yourself and heal some parts of yourself that the hex brought out.
After you got hexed
This is the official point where you can start throwing hands with the person that sent you the spell. No, i'm kidding. Okay, maybe not. But yeah, it is a point where you restore your protections and can pat yourself on the back for succeeding at getting rid of an hex. Good job!

Real Talk: Hexing
Note: this is a pro-hexing blog. You have the right to your opinions and I have the right to mine. If you comment or reblog this with the law of returns nonsense attached, I block you. This is also, of course, my opinion based on my personal experience as a witch who has both hexed and been hexed. Your experience may vary.
Hexing is baneful magic. It will ALWAYS be baneful magic.
There is, as a result, no such thing as a safe hex or a hex that is guaranteed will not harm your intended target. If you aren't okay with that - don't hex.
As an energist here - let's break spell down into two types. (I know this is a vast oversimplification, but bear with me here) If you create a spell with positive energy, it is likely to have positive results. If you create a spell with negative energy, it is likely to have negative results. This is why your frame of mind is important when doing spellwork - why it's generally considered a bad idea to try to spell for abundance from a place of lack, etc.
So, in its most simplistic sense, a hex (or whatever else you want to call it - I'm using the term hex for simplicity and don't make the distinction that some people do between cursing/jinxing/hexing, etc.) is just the lobbing of negative energy at another person. Depending on how forceful you are at energy manipulation and how susceptible that person is to outside energy, this negative energy is going to permeate their life to some degree.
This can show up in a lot of ways. The person may start to feel ill (physically or mentally), they may fall into a depression and become despondent about their life, they may lose their job or start having money problems, or suffer accidents big or small. If the person is protected (naturally or magically), the spell may ricochet off of them - it may affect their partner, their job, or their pets. Their car might break down or their parent may fall very ill.
No matter how much you try to control your hex, you cannot account for all of these variables. No matter how well you word your intentions, spells have a mind of their own once they are cast. That is one of the strange wonders of magic - it takes the path of least resistance.
I've had some luck protecting the people around the target, but there are no guarantees. A powerful hex aimed at an unprotected (or underprotected) target can wreak havoc on their lives and the lives of everybody that they are close to. Once it has left your hands, it will take on a force of its own.
That's just the tea. Accept it, or don't hex.
