Kiss of Death

A fun monochromatic I made for a Valentine’s Exhibition during February. An alternate take on the ‘kiss of life’. I love skeletons, especially the grim reaper so this was very fitting to my valentine’s mood. This is a lot more detail than what I am used to but for a final piece I wanted to go the extra mile.

Cupid

My creepy take on Valentine’s Mascot Cupid. I made these boys for an Exhibition I was showcasing in during February which revolved around Valentine’s. Found myself a bit stuck for ideas and backstories so decided to take a well-known and loved character and turn in to a monstrosity, as you do. I went a bit ham with the halftone brush since it was my first little taster of it.

Those Kids are Demons

A fun and easy couple of character designs I made for my final show last year. The whole concept behind these was about two seemingly demonic teens who put on masks and cause mischief. The ‘Oni’ mask is made to represent evil and to strike fear in to both humans and other demonic spirits.

The Immortal and Undying Shopkeeper of Oddities and Curios

My first post on tumblr dot com! This was a submission to Pictoplasma’s Character Staredown competition last year! His name is Winston Jones, an immortal shopkeeper and avid collector of oddities and curios. Winston sells an array of items from spells and potions, cursed and possessed objects and supernatural diy manuals! He send his human paranormal investigators out to collect.
