a sigh escaped the dragon slayer's lips. he figured something would happen the moment the left magnolia early. but truly, it wasn't entirely his fault. he just needed to leave when he did. he couldn't really be mad at ultear, it wouldn't make sense. her life didn't revolve around him. only a part of his revolved around making sure she didn't do anything shady.

laxus took the offered step inside. "thank you. i'm here to pick her up for magnolia — i'm early, so it's fine." he stood awkwardly in the home, it was the first time he was actually inside of it. "she does miss sirius when she's in magnolia. she likes to hog bolt from me." bolt was precious enough she didn't mind it. but it was his bed she slept in. no one else's.

" she's actually taken sirius to the park for me. " the man stood in the doorway, not all that quite surprised to see Laxus. he'd seen the man around a few times, ok well more then a few times, more like a lot. jellal had never really taken the chance to actually converse with laxus before though, maybe not until now. " were you looking for her? you're welcome to come in. " he gave a slight wave of a gesture to the other, proceeding to step out of the doorway in case Laxus took him up on the offer.
