The Skeleton crew~

'... What is this?' Reader asked looking at the bound figures kneeling on the ground. The heavy chains, collars and rags didn't hide their status. 'The skeleton crew you wanted.' The servant answered, a small malicious smirk on their lips. Reader sighed pinching the bridge of their nose. 'What about 'willingly' did you NOT understand?' They questioned with a soft growl. The servant casually shrugged their shoulders. 'You asked for a skeleton crew, ma'am.' They stated. 'So his Majesty has provided you with one. Are you saying his Majesty made a mistake?' They asked with a grin a little bit too wide. Reader shot them a glare. 'Get out.' They responded. The servant chuckled and bowed leaving the room. Reader glared at the door before letting out another loud sigh. They looked at the 5 skeletons kneeling on the ground. 4 of them glared fiercely at Reader while the softest looked at the ground. 'Alright, you have 2 choices.' They spoke looking at the skeletons. 'Either you'll help me willingly or you go back to the market.' They walked over to the table, shuffling through papers to find a blank piece. 'I'll provide you with 3 meals a day, a room and clothing. I won't cause you harm less it be self-defense, actions will have consequences... In addition you'll get a day off a week... Just not all at once.' Reader scribbled their terms on the blank piece while talking. The skeletons looked at the human in confusion and distrust before looking at each other. The offer was tempting... But too good to be true... On the other hand going back to the market would almost certainly mean being split up... 'I-I'll help...' The smallest skeleton of the bunch spoke up softly. He finally looked up at Reader. His lights held fear and uncertainly. The human gave him a soft smile. 'Good, what's your name and what skills do you have?' They asked. A look of surprise crossed his face. 'I-I'm Blue and I'm a guard...' He answered. Reader nodded scribbling it down on the paper. They showed it to the little skeleton, holding out a pen. 'Sign it when you're ready.' They stated, waiting while Blue read the contract. When he was done he took the pen and signed while the others watched. As soon as Blue signed Reader removed the heavy chains. He looked at them in surprise. 'You'll be on probation for a week. Besides working with chains on is going to be a hassle.' Reader explained. One of the taller skeletons sighed. 'If he's staying so am I.' He spoke. Reader smiled, asking him the same questions. In the end the other skeletons signed the contract as well. Reader made good on their word, giving the skeletons a room with beds, their own chest with proper clothing and a small desk. The meals were simple but filling and tasty. While Stretch and Dust helped the human with their research on stopping the diseases plaguing the common folk Fell, Cross and Blue took on shifts of guarding the lab so no one could temper with the work done. With the help of the skeletons Reader could start righting the wrongs committed by the villains of the kingdom. After all, they were a summoned hero as well...

Oh? A clay scrub? Would it not be too far too say that Soul would enjoy a clay mask with cucumbers for a relaxing time then? 💛

And another question- would Drawn be opposed to having a sensory brush or would his bones be too delicate for that? What if it was only on the non burnt parts would that be okay for the little darling? 💛

And I’ve been meaning to ask about the Nightmare in Dusk- do they go back once he’s exhausted himself? Or maybe calm down and recede back inwards once he falls asleep? 💛 Also I’m guessing he can get very nippy when like this- is it okay to have bitties that can handle themselves near him or would it be best to not have them near at all when this happens? 💛

He'd eat the cucumbers and cover himself in the clay... It won't stay just on his face >w>;; Dawn's burned side is really sensitive and delicate. Most of the time it's required to be covered by a cream made from Nightmare essence. (It counter acts the burns made by Daydreams) If they're not bathing that is... It would be fine on his none burned side. He'll like the attention. The Nightmare needs to be resealed for it to be under control again. Dusk usually manages to break free long enough to do it himself but there are instances where Dusks were too weak and ended up permanently a Nightmare. (We're talking about extremely neglectful homes here) The Nightmare might slip out when Dusk falls asleep but when Dusk wakes up they'll switch back. For caretakers who treat the Nightmare the same as Dusk the Nightmare might be more lenient and listen to their request for it to go back to sleep. The Nightmare won't only be nippy but will use everything at their disposal to terrorize other life forms. (It will go after pets, other Bitties even caretakers and their friends) Bitties that can handle themselves should be relatively fine. Other Nightmares or Nightmare based bitties might get pulled into the Nightmare's mischief. Alternatively if the Nightmare comes out contain them in a glass jar until they go dormant again :')

Now would any of them be courted by another bitty? Or at least be interested in courting or being courted by them? I’m very curious to whether they succeed or not! 💛

Why would they take for your bitties and why would they succeeded when courting them? U have a feeling Soul would be the most difficult or at least one of the most difficult for a bitty to court. 💛

Also, you said natural soaps for Soul right? Would he like to possibly go out(with proper precautions in place) to a little natural store with the caretaker and pick out his favorites then?💛

Yes! Of course other bitties are able to court them! They'll also be courting bitties they've taken interest in. The signs of courtship are pretty easy to recognize. As are the signs of interest if they're being courted. If they're being courted and they're interested it's visible in their body language. Fully facing the courting Bitty, paying attention to their words, actions and gestures. They'll be gentler and much more thoughtful of the courting Bitty. If it appears that they're not compatible with each other it can go 2 ways depending on the courting Bitty. They'll tell the courting Bitty they're not compatible and wish to break off the courtship. If the courting Bitty refuses it might end up messy. Especially with the darker bitties. Broken bones or loss of limbs can happen depending on how far the other pushes. If the courting Bitty accepts the rejection it's possible they'll give receive a little blessing before they 'part' ways. Now if they're the one doing the courting it's pretty straightforward, they'll ask the one they like if it's okay for them to court said Bitty. If the Bitty says no that's that. They'll leave that Bitty alone and never bother them with courting again. If they say yes it's full courtship. Letters, gifts, dates the whole nine yards. They'll spare no expenses. (Word of warning though, if they find out the Bitty they're courting is playing with them the consequences will be severe and not always straight away) If after a time they find out they're not compatible with their courted Bitty they'll gently break it off. But if they find they are compatible they'll slowly bring up taking the next step which is mating. They each have their own ritual which can become quite intimate. They're all deeply loyal to their mates but not blindly so. If they find out after mating their mate was intimate with another not even a prayer to God will save them... Funnily enough Soul is the biggest softie for his mate due to him thinking he'll never find one. He'll be very cautious with every Bitty trying to court him thinking they're messing with him. So yes, he's difficult to court due to his distrust. He might be more receptive if he's known them a little longer. He's rather dense in the romantic field... He's the type where 'love goes through the stomach' whether that's a good meal or a gentle nibble on the courting Bitty's body. (He also loves poppy flowers) Soul would be delight to get out of the house. If not careful he might even end up in a puddle of mud or a moat if he can get away from the caretaker. A trip to a natural store would be a treat but expect he'll get into things on his quest to find his favorite soap smell. It's also possible he'll pick a clay scrub instead of soap. If the caretaker has a garden Soul would also accept flower petals and herbs as 'soap'.

Sorry it’s been a bit! I’ve been quite distracted as I often am! ^^’

I would like to know of any of the bitties in general dislike of any sorts of fabrics? Like cotton or wool, or more itchy types or maybe even more leathery types of materials? 💛

Man’s I would also like to ask if any of them truly dislikes baths or strong scented soaps- with that note in mind as well- do any of the have a preferred smell that they enjoy? I know some bitties can be extremely sensitive to certain smells or chemicals after all. 💛

No worries, life happens~ I don't blame you None of them like fabrics that get static very fast. Think stuff like polyester or some synthetic satins. It'll charge them like a battery and shock everyone who touches them until the charge is fully unloaded. It hurts them so they don't like it. (though Cherries will sometimes do it when bored. They find it hilarious to shock people) They prefer natural fabrics like cotton, linen or wool much better. Some of them would even like to weave the fabrics themselves. The more darker type bitties prefer sturdier fabrics including leather. (Soul would wear your face if he'd get the chance...) The softer type bitties prefer soft and light fabrics including lace. (Star being the exception, they like both) Only Honeys are terrified of taking a bath due to attempts of being drowned. They prefer showers or simply wiping down. Forcing a bath will without doubt cause a panic attack with them. On the other hand Cherries and Dawns LOVE baths. Cherries might refuse to get out of baths while Dawns love a good soak to reveal pain from their burns. Most of them are fine with scented soaps but Souls won't react favorably. They don't really care for bathing but the soap must be natural or the caretaker will have a battle on their hand. All of them like freshly washed linen and you might find them napping in there. As for personal preference... 💛Hello~! I’m back with more!~

💛I know that they have preferred food types like meats and Veggies! But I was wondering what their favorite Meat/Fruit/Vegetable Was!

💛Also I was wondering how a Sunny bitty would in an affectionate household? Would hey maybe get overwhelmed and bite a lot especially if they where newer? How would they adjust?

I was also wondering if they sometimes would nibble affectionately!

💛Mallow seems like a very sweet bitty! But I was also curious if they would like other things from gardening- like trimming, Bonsais, Flower arrangement, flower pressing! Little things like those! As well as foraging! ^^



Preferred foods are entirely up to the individual bitty! But there's usually a taste or texture overlap. Like Honey prefers sweet to sweet and sour soft food. So they'll prefer peaches or strawberries. Sunny likes savory so they'll go for salty and rich food like beef stew. Mallow prefers salt and sweet with a crisp so they'll go for apples and edamame. Bunbun often go for citrusy fruits like oranges, lemons and grapefruits. Scruffy is a bit of a garbage eater but tend to enjoy bitter and sour things. (They'll eat lemon rinds if you'll let them...) So they might end up in coffee cups... Star likes a crunch, they're not picky about sweet, sour, salty or bitter as long as it has a crunch. Cherry is fine with any kind of meat but prefers fish. (I count it as meat since it came from an animal) They like salty food. Giggles prefers crispy bitter sweet food strangely. Much like cabbage type vegetables (they count cocoa beans as vegetable...) Soul prefers... Well... Other Bitties... They're not allowed to eat them so they'd settle for any roasted meat. Dusk prefers beans, the sweeter kinds like red beans and sugar snaps. Dawn is the only Bitty whose preferred vegetable is consistent... They love potatoes. Sweet potato, normal potato, crisps, mash doesn't matter. They love potato. Sunny does well in affectionate households since contrary to their attitude they're surprisingly affectionate themselves! It's just that they'll hide it until they feel safe to express it. They're not touchy feely since that's something that needs to come from them. You could say Sunny is a bit like a cat, affectionate in their own way and time. They'll only warn once if you cross their boundary cause the second time they'll bite and they bite HARD. (Affectionate nibbles aren't out of the question) Mallow is indeed a very sweet Bitty. They're generally interested in gardening so it wouldn't be strange if they pick up anything related to gardening. It does depend on their environment and living arrangements of course. A Mallow living in a flat can't go out foraging like one living in a house or forest cabin unless the caretaker takes them to the forest. But if their caretaker gives them a small garden they'll be happy!
