tonight explore has been laggy for a lot of wolfers. someone even made a bug report about it and other players have commented on it.

This game feels so stupid sometimes!!! I saw a user streaming their Explore session on twitch but they had to keep the chat restricted since that would break the "don't invite other players to other sites to talk" rule. Get in trouble for playing too good, get in trouble for analyzing the game, get in trouble for talking somewhere that isn't Wolfplay - why!?! I hope those users keep trying to figure out the geode system on their own time. Godspeed!

RE: the FMC event planning, my headcanon is that Eve doesn't even know how people get high spirit scores like that lmao

Let alone how to fix it.. She's so bad at bug fixing, it's so funny to watch her try whenever something is reported, especially exploits/exploit adjacent bugs

It's an interesting headcanon!!! But given that Eve is the one who designed it, I can't help but think she must have a good idea of how it works. My theory is that maybe she didn't account for players who would focus only on the Spirit competition?

I think this recent banning calls for all wolfplayers to find out where they get the most spirit encounters and get insane scores next FMC, can't ban us *all* can she 👀

In all honesty though, I definitely have my guesses as to who would be reporting such things as cheating.. Even though it isn't. You're devoting your time and energy to the game, you figured stuff out, that's not an exploit nor cheating, that's playing the game well, at least that's what it would be in any other games. God forbid someone think a little instead of spamming explore 24/7 which I guess is the only acceptable way to compete lmao

If I have the time for it next month I'm in!!! Assuming the way you get encounters hasn't been changed by then...

Sure I can do a poll! Most people who submit complaints or confessions aren't followers nor do they reblog or anything. I don't take it personally, anonymity is the name of the game with this blog!!!

And yes! Each level has a set range of possible Spirit Ancestor encounters. If you find a level with at least 10 encounters (the lower end of the range) then you can replay that level for a consistent amount of encounters. I have a spreadsheet and everything lol. I think the amount is different for different players tho since I've talked to other players and have gotten different reports. I also explored with a full team of Ancestral Piety boosts with maxed Spirituality stats, which helped to ensure I rarely (if EVER) got a rejection. If you just speed through replaying a level with a good range of encounters and skip hunting etc, then you too can rack up high Spirit numbers and then get banned by Debbie ;-; ;-; ;-; ;-; ;-; ;-; ;-;

Heed this warning wolfplayers - get too good and you will be smote!!!

I have been trying to set a record in the FMC this month. I broke the standing record and then got banned. I took a look and saw that my scores for other FMC events are still there, but not in Spirit Ancestor. I don't know what other reason there could be. I've always been good at Spirit Ancestor. I guess Debbie finally got sick of me. I was at about 921-ish encounters and I was aiming for at least 1200 encounters and I know I could have done it. I broke the record! My method of replaying levels with 10-14 Spirit Encounters and skipping all other encounters works! There will be others! I'll miss my pack.

I know who you are based on this message!!! I saw your score before it got deleted - unbelievable!!! If that's why you got banned then I am SO fucking sorry!!! Did you get an explanation for why you were banned? ...Is replaying levels really all it takes to get a high score at spirit??
