I ended up having to rush this, but I just had to express my feelings about ‘She’s in the Rain’ somehow. So, here’s a Dojoon piece.

So I know everyone’s been talking about the She’s in the Rain lyric about “it’s better to be held than holding on” and stuff but you know what else gets me? When Sammy and Dojoon’s voice come together to sing “we’re in the rain” instead of “she’s in the rain” like DANG, that was a beautiful change to the chorus and the meaning of how now both people are together in the storm cuz she has someone there for her through her struggles and she’s not alone. That hits me everytime

notice to those who have either not purchased a physical copy of poet | artist yet or who have intended to purchase another: the clock is potentially ticking. according to @jonghyun_search: there are currently no more (or a limited number of) copies of the album in stock and if they do not receive enough orders for their october group order the manufacturer may stop producing copies of the album. (there is no emphasis on whether this would be in general or for the rest of the year, though it potentially may be the latter.) given that @jonghyun_search is the only ongoing korean group order for the album currently and their goal is to raise sales for the year end awards, they are asking that all shawols help in whatever way they possibly can. their october group order will run for one more day exactly before closing for the month. according to the notice made by the group, even hottracks (the store that they do their orders through) has donated money to the group order for the month to help out. for those interested in helping: please see the tistory page located at this link. (the password to get into the page can be found in the tweet.) there are two hottracks urls located on the page. the first will allow you to participate in the group order, while the second will allow you to donate to it. if you choose to participate in the order you will receive your own copy (or copies) of the album. the amount you will have to pay will depend on how many copies you choose to buy: both the general cost of the album itself and cost of shipping. if you are donating, you will only have to pay for the general price of the album (or albums). the cost of a single copy of the album from hottracks is 14000₩, or roughly $12.38 usd. the site itself is very easy to navigate simply with as little as a google translation. you may also use the google docs form located at this link to donate whatever amount you please to @jonghyun_search and their bank account for the monthly group order. donations can also be made to their paypal account (which the email can be found here.) donations may be in either usd or korean won, and they ask anyone who gives a donation to fill out the google doc form linked linked earlier. please use whatever method is the most convenient for you. it anyone has any questions about this, if they tweet a message directly to @jonghyun_search they are likely to receive a response from them, but please try to do so as soon as possible. as stated above: the group order will only go on for one more day, based on korean time. it will come to a close at 11:59pm kst tomorrow (october 8th). any and all donations are accepted and thanked for. if you are able to participate in either purchasing a copy or donating funds please do so as this change is both sudden and vital. (not only to the continued production of poet | artist, but to whether or not jonghyun may win a bonsang at the year end awards.) please share both this post and the tweets made by @jonghyun_search in order to help the information spread more rapidly before the end of the 8th kst. all donations and purchases made will also contribute to shiny foundation. to note, the number listed near the bottom of the first image is the amount of sales recorded for the bulk order for the month as of 2pm kst on the 7th: 1,469 copies. the larger number is the amount left for their total goal for the month after this sales. (though, clearly, they would be glad if they exceeded that goal.)
