My controversial boomer opinion is that Ice Planet Barbarians is actually a very good series. It has incredible world building, fleshed out social hierarchies, healthy dynamics, and themes of loss, love, isolation, and grief that are very well explored. Just bc it’s smutty alien romance, doesn’t mean its trashy or bad writing. In fact, its one of my favorite romance series of all time.

Been working on this all x-mas! I was *dying* to tell you all.

It's been a joy to work on the fruit cave. I love complex sceneries and I always imagined the cave being lavish and extremely colorful (as opposed to the eternal white of the snowy landscape). I made a point on drawing tasty fruits. Like, they look weird, but I want to taste them. Most of these are based on real fruits (go figure).

When Ruby Dixon asked for this setting, I was like HELL YEAH!

I hope I did justice to her characters and her setting. Thank you for the trust, Ruby.

Lila and Rokan are one of my fave couples (Haeden, please do not kill me. I love you, but omg Rooookaaaaan), so it was A PURE JOY getting this commission.

I’ve read first two books and skimmed through the fourth(didn’t touch third). I thought there were five? Boy I was wrong.. I like Raahosh the most between every character I’ve been introduced so far. Lone wolf with a heart of gold <3

I didn’t really pay much attention on their faces. Ridges on the nose, big, blue and horned. Thats all I need to know. But I will be honest the weird three fingered alien feet grossed me out a bit. Like. I’m perfectly fine with tails and horns but the weird feet? Oh hell nah.

Im %99 sure he doesn’t actually have any scars on his lip or nose because if he had liz probably would be waxing poetic about it and like trying to grind on it or something. I don’t really care. I like lip scars.
