I saw thee smile—my breath did cease, A tremor touched my tranquil peace; And when thine eyes did meet with mine, They shone with something half-divine. As starlit seas in silence swell, So deep they were—I could not tell If they bespoke of joy or pain, But still, I longed to look again.
Yet oft, when morning shadows fall, A dull unrest my soul doth thrall; As though some wheel within me stays, Caught fast in life's encumbered maze. A hapless heart, I move, unsure— Yet for thy smile, I still endure. What strength I lack, I fain would lend, To earn the light thy eyes may send.
For what I deemed forever past, In thee, hath risen up at last. Love, thought extinguished, newly glows— As fire that sleeps beneath the snows. Though silence parts us, still I keep Thy name within my folded sleep; No voice could mend what words might mar, I seek thee where the lost things are.
I see thee still, in dreams that stray Through woods where none but thou mayst stay— A glade, a hush, a distant bell, Where thou alone my soul couldst quell. The compass reels, the stars grow blind, Yet still thy face I seem to find; Within the glass, not I, but thee— Thy beauty framed in mockery.
The wind doth chant thy gentle name, And all the world is not the same. The form I wore, the self I knew, Is shaped anew—remade by you. What words could scale this summit high? What verse could voice the inward cry? All fails before this sacred flame— This love that dares not speak thy name.
And if, in hush of twilight's close, I kneel where silent longing grows, It is to feel, though far apart, The echo of thy beating heart. Though fate may keep thy hand from mine, Still would I whisper: I am thine.

In the realm where the ocean meets the sky, A soul set adrift with a sorrowful sigh. In the vast expanse this spirit finds no rest, As waves of anguish pound within their chest.
The sea mirrors the turmoil deep inside, Reflects the ache of dreams now denied. With every crashing wave upon the shore, Crashing echoes of shattered hopes forevermore,
Beneath the moon's soft and gentle light, The pain intensifies into this endless night. The ocean's depths like a cavern of despair, Swallowing the cries of the words never shared.
Yet, in the quiet depths where shadows play, A glimmer of hope survives the fray. For just as the tides must ebb and flow, Healing whispers softly in the undertow.
So let the ocean carry away the sorrow, And within it's vastness lies a new tomorrow. For in the depths of pain and strife, Lies the promise of a renewed life. -WordsNeverShared

“When the right one comes along, you figure it out. You move mountains, you change your life and you do whatever it takes to keep them with you.”

It is three at night. I have something to say. You are so valuable. You shine out. You are a magic star. You are a body of blood made beautiful. How I admire, sit back and adore you. How thirsty I am for that. How you feed me.

Understand, I’ll slip quietly away from the noisy crowd when I see the pale stars rising, blooming, over the oaks. I’ll pursue solitary pathways through the pale twilit meadows, with only this one dream: You come too.
Rainer Maria Rilke (via thelovejournals)

You belong to me, I have made you mine. I have fought for you within myself, from the beginning, and always anew, and perhaps forever.

I belong to you; there is really no other way of expressing it, and that is not strong enough.
