Temple talk

In a random town or forest. -Listen, I had to leave the end of last session

Aleris' magic might not have been working but oh well

Silas mentions the Raven Queen and Courage is suddenly SUPER into following Aleris to their food hunt

Encounter moon goddess guards but a lot of other god armour too -they dead

Silas is setting up camp and hears large twig thing breaking

It's probably just a giant red panda -Silas says

Burning wool? Fur?

DRUSTEN PULLS OUT A PAINTING?

What is going on? -Listen, I am just...confused. -_-

Flaming red fur bear thing as tall as some trees.

Mentally intrusive big bear? Panda?

Courage eats dog food -confirmed

Apparently we're doing watches. -Silas in first watch, Aleris in second watch and Courage in secret third watch.

For a perceptive character Silas is not perceptive tonight. +9 still equals 11 bro.

Silas starfishes on Courage to go to sleep. Weird buddies.

Aleris seeing ruins being ingulfed in blue life and ghosts.

GHOST TOWN!

Courage waking up for secret third watch -sees the ghost town

Ruins of the moon temple looks cool

Aleris has wandered off to look for the half-orc kid's parents (kid's name is Istredd)

Aleris is a ghost though she doesn't remember dying

walking towards a blacksmiths

No response to Aleris telling the ghost potential mother she's a friend of her sons

Courage looking at ghost temples

No real hostility between gods here but the Raven Queen does have a small house-sized temple

Courage forgot her backpack so does a little prayer

Back to Aleris, continuing to try and talk to Istredd's mother.

Istredd's mother grins at a moon goddess' guard dude.

She's apparently making a sword for something that's coming -referring to it as "the attack"

That guard is Istredd's dad.

It's almost like they can not see or hear us

Serrina and Oswind. -parents names I think.

Guards all around the temples.

Aleris and Courage pass ways -weird amount of people around a table that seem to be planning something

Aleris wishing to tell the ghost mother her son's not dead

Aleris notices the town's growing a bit agitated -people closing up shop and going home or walking around armed.

Plans to block off access to the town and temples

A sacred weapon housed in a recess of the temple -weapon protected to not let it get in the wrong hands

Sky becomes weird and mounted soldiers come for them.

Istredd gets pulled from the fight by another soldier-maybe his father-to prevent him fighting in this battle, pressing something into Istredd's hand and points to the forest.

Light reaches the town and erases the battle, back into the ruins.

Courage sneaking back to bed

Aleris does not see Courage sneaking back to bed.

Morning time now

Silas seems a little moody

Bickering in the morning with Silas

Moon dagger thing and keeping an eye on Si as we go to the ruins through the forest to find the big cat red thing

Silas is being grumbly because he's stuck with Courage and Aleris who are random and silly.

Aleris leads us through the forest despite the fact she keeps wandering off to find the red panda thing.

Arrive at the ruin

Over the mountains we go

Session after:

Going through caves

encountering an old man, Aleris just destroys the mummies he uses as defences

Entering another cave

Fighting a woman

We get invisible force-fielded.

Kill the woman, mainly thanks to Link- He's such a good boy

They were part of the cult, yay. Guess we don't need to be here anymore then.

The ??? member was named Nina.

I’m of the opinion that most tv shows need a musical episode in the style of “Once More With Feeling” from Buffy the Vampire Slayer and “Subspace Rhapsody” from Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.

Give me my favs trapped in diegetic musical numbers in which they’re forced to be emotionally honest. Make it happen at the most inconvenient, painful part of their character arcs. Make them accidentally hurt each other because of the previously mentioned uncontrollable emotionally honest musical numbers.
