Daurian Redstart [Phoenicurus auroreus] ジョウビタキ by Kaz Kuro Via Flickr: 冬の小鳥の代表格、エースのジョーです。『可愛らしい』印象の♀に対して、銀髪に黒が効いた♂は『カッコいい』ですねぇ。このカットでは分かりづらいけど、風切羽根や雨覆いに褐色部分が目立つことから第一回冬羽だと思われます。

This bird and its American sister species, the spotted sandpiper (A. macularia), make up the genus Actitis. Hybridization has also been reported between the common sandpiper and the green sandpiper, a basal species of the closely related shank genus Tringa.

Kestrel [Falco tinnunculus] チョウゲンボウ Via Flickr: ナンキンハゼの紅葉を前ボケに、枝から飛び立つチョウゲンボウ。尾羽の様子から、まだ若い♂のように思われます。南港野鳥園にて。
