Help, I keep dreaming that I am looking for Jupiter North and I can never quite find him! 😭 I dream it almost every night now.

reading we have always lived in the castle and i think it's referenced in nevermoor, correct me if i'm wrong but cadence is mistakenly called 'constance blackwood' at some point and this is the name of a character in the book. interesting too because constance lives away from and unseen by society, much like cadence herself

I think your mind might be playing tricks on you because I just searched for “Constance” and “Blackwood” in my books and couldn’t find anything 😭 I do think there is one part, probably in the first book, where she’s called a similar name though, but I’m not sure. Interesting connection though! I love connecting bits of other media to media I like just for fun lol

Watching His Dark Materials (how did I never check this out before?) and I still maintain that if she was the right age, Dafne Keen would’ve been PERFECT for Morrigan in the Nevermovie. I’ve thought this from even when this show didn’t exist and I only knew her from Logan. I think she would’ve been able to nail it.

Always obsessed with this moment and can’t wait to find out what it could mean. I feel like it equally could apply to whatever happened to Mog’s mom and also the Courage Square Massacre

Three more thoughts after listening to the Writer’s Week recording:

— The fact that no one mentioned that Jess said she’s heard some of the movie songs and that they made her cry is crazy! I am living for any and all movie news!!!

— Also the fact that she mentions the blurry Silverborn snippet is soooo funny 😅 like sorry but we are so desperate for anything new from Nevermoor at any given time

— And then just her mentioning that she sees the theories online and some are spot on while others are completely wild….. I am a proud member of both camps <3 Silverborn Masterpost FTW!

For any Nevermoor fans that've ever been interested in getting their hands on the UK hardcover editions of the series, with the wonderful cover designs..... I think they might be out of print (which. makes sense with the gold foil) so. goodluck and godspeed for finding them secondhand, because it was surprisingly hard to do online.

My UK hardcovers for Nevermoor + Wundersmith came in the mail today and I am LOVING how this blurb is written/formatted. Shame they didn’t keep up with it for the rest of the books.

Some Silverborn thoughts based on this info:

1. Murder mystery……. here are some possible candidates, in no particular order:

— Cassiel

—— Cassiel's disappearance has been long discussed since Wundersmith, I feel like him being an important part of Silverborn could tie into both a lot of confirmed things we know and a lot of theorized things.

— Mog’s Mom

—— I've been holding onto the theme of mothers in this book ever since this interview and the general description of the book being about Mog's backstory. Her mom's death is mysterious. That is all.

— Wundersmiths

—— Morrigan will be working with Squall and likely learning more about Wundersmiths and their history... with Courage Square, they're like one big murder mystery tbh

— Queen Cal

—— @shdwycupcake shared a theory about Queen Cal being the one to die, which I think could be very interesting. She's one of the signatories on Mog's safeguard, which we're supposed to learn more about. There's theories about Mog having a royal background through her mom, which could be interesting if true. Hollowpox started to delve into the politics of the world, so it could be interesting to see that continue.

2. Ogden-on-Juro / The Silver District

Exploring this part of Nevermoor has been the most theorized thing since the book was announced, I think most folks have checked out the Silverborn Masterpost, I'm not sure if there's anything left for me to say lol.

3. Just searching “silver” and also referencing my Silverborn Masterpost, here are some notable references of silver in Wundersmith that I believe may possibly be clues for the meaning of “silverborn”:

— Silver as a connection to Celestials

—— There's other silver references in the other books that I like to tie to the Celestials, but Jupiter recieves a note "sealed with silver wax" from them in this book, which makes me think that the color could signal Celestial connection

— The Silver District

—— Again, I think everyone and their mom has theorized about any and all connection with the Silver District, so I will leave it at that

— The silver thread Witnesses see

—— Silver seems to relate to desire to be home or elsewhere in Wundersmith and the past / identity in Hollowpox..... if this doesn't sound like Mog's status in this book, idk what does. One might even say she was born feeling this way..... jk jk

If anyone has any of their own thoughts on what I share here or anything else on the info post, I'd love to hear it! And if folks are rereading and theorizing leading up to Silverborn, I'd love to hear any and every thought that you think I should add to the Silverborn Masterpost. Since it's almost like every theory folks have, I can't wait to look back on it once the book finally releases to see how much we did (and didn't) get right lol

I think I need to stop setting up the silverborn countdown challenge for the billionth time or trying to plan a collaborative reread…. bc the book just keeps getting delayed, and who knows whenever the actual final dates are 😭😭😭
