I totally forgot my own birthday this year… I was so busy with work that I actually forgot. If it hadn’t been for people sending me owls wishing me a happy birthday I wouldn’t have remembered at all.

I never knew that pancake making could be so complicated. I’m going to have to incorporate that into the menu when I cook for Henry -- but not Ryder, stinky brothers don’t deserve food!

No, they’re in the pancake, but instead of mixing them into the batter in the bowl, she waits until they’re in the pan and puts them in the pancake there.

Hey! I thought my Christmas presents were good, you’re just too picky. But as long as you do dishes… sure, food thief, I’ll remind you next time I’m making Mexican. We can even turn it into a party, bring Stella and I’ll invite Lily and Marley and maybe Hugo and Gracie or something.

How about instead of hexing me you use your magic to clean up dishes? Then, and only then, will I maybe consider feeding you. Grocery money might seal the deal, though…

I think he sees mum at work now that he’s training to be an Auror, and he’s gone to a pub with dad a few times, but still! It’s not that hard to Apparate home, put in some effort, man!

My mum would kill me if I didn’t. Or at least yell at me, which is even worse. But he has seen them, right? Like for lunch?

Why do we have to be related again? You’re so mean to me. No, Mel, my food was not burnt. If anything, it was maybe a little overdone, but it was steak fajitas, and steak tastes better that way anyway.

Pokemon Go is a dangerous phenomenon! Although I totally sometimes play it at my desk at work when no one is checking in on me; there’s some surprisingly good stuff in the WWN studios, especially if you use a lure thingy. Just be careful not to get too hurt doing it, then you’ll never be able to enjoy the cool things you catch!
