This is genuinely the first time I have ever

Actually liked or agreed with anything Charles Xavier has ever said

Finally Xavier has actually done something that I agree with by using his absolute control over these drugs to force the flatscans into giving mutantkind both a safe haven and a homeland that they can call their own

And I also love that he’s finally realised that the idea of playing nice with humanity is absolutely ridiculous garbage and that the flatscans have never once deserved the benefit of the doubt or to be trusted in any such way

Charles has finally realised his original utterly ridiculous dream is never going to happen and has instead embraced reality and is putting the protection, safety and welfare of his fellow mutants above all that nonsense about mankind and mutantkind becoming Besties

I find it hillarious also that some people on TV tropes are like “It’s bad that Xavier is demanding the world do this” because like…sorry he just CURED CANCER AND ALZHEIMERS…along with LITERALLY EVERY OTHER DISEASE EVER…he has every right to demand anything he fucking wants from the pathetic flatscan assholes who don’t remotely deserve anything from him or any other mutant after everything they’ve done and failed to do…

It’s about time Xavier lead mutantkind into DEMANDING that humankind give them the freedom and equality they deserve instead of that spineless and cowardly “Let’s just politely ask the humans to Please Stop Trying to Commit Genocide Against an Entire Species” garbage. Or put another way…it’s about time that the X-men comics stopped trying to be a Pride March and started acting like the Stonewall Riot

Xavier is not going to waste his time debating with flatscan scum that murder children and build Sentient Genocide Engines. he’s going to make it clear to them that this is the way things are going to fucking be now and if they don’t like it then they can just go right on dying horribly from terminal illnesses

I also love that this moment directly calls out the fact that literally NO ONE in the Marvel universe has ever done jackshit to help mutantkind. Even their so called friends in the Avengers…what have they actually ever done to wipe out the Purifiers or the Friends of Humanity? What have they done to end the menace that Nazi’s like William Stryker, Graydon Creed or the flatscan scum of “Operation: Zero Tolerance” posed to them? Mutantkind is done putting up with humanities bullshit and it’s about time
