Just a reminder that people who still live with their parents as adults deserve respect and for you to stop being ableist. There are multiple reasons someone could still live with their parents! From invisible to visible disabilities, finance issues, and more!
Stop using the “well they’re gonna turn into a creep living in their parents basement” punchline! It’s disgusting. STOP. BEING. ABLEIST. STOP. FORGETTING. THE. POOR.

need abled punks to have a wake up moment to some of the RAMPANT ableism within the community please and thank u
no, not everyone can protest. that is not a "bare minimum" for punks to meet
YES you should hold the ideals of it. dont be a fucking poser.
i and many others cannot attend protests. im physically disabled and i have intense agoraphobia caused by OTHER disabilities and severe trauma

It's not "anti-recovery" to acknowledge your parts, to give them names and to figure out what feelings and memories they hold. You cannot heal without acknowledging your parts or communicating with them.

I am very tired of seeing radqueer / transRAMCOA / transDID shit in the RAMCOA tags. It is frustrating and disappointing to see survivors being spoken over and their spaces being encroached on by people who never went through the horrors of RAMCOA and can only attempt to imitate it and make a mockery of it.
Just as misinformation on social media has real clinical implications for DID and OSDD in general, the misinformation about RAMCOA (and all of this "transRAMCOA" and related shit) will only make it more difficult for real survivors of organized and extreme abuse to come forward, be believed, and be treated.
The Satanic Panic had devastating effects on the credibility of survivors. Now it is happening all over again on social media.

listen i understand doing alter intros can be SUPER soothing.. but i recommend doing it elsewhere where u arent subject to that personal info being used against u or posted elsewhere
this is especially directed at those posting intros of programmed alters as it gives abusers or bad people an insight into how they can manipulate u
additionally, syscringe doesnt blur alter names (despite having it in their rules to blur all private info) and that info being shown there can potentially cost u a lot in terms of safety

Unfortunately, I think stigmatised disorder (personality disorders, psychotic disorders, etc) culture is realising something you experience has a name and finally feeling seen, but you go to google it for more resources and only find people talking about how horrible and morally evil you are for daring to have that symptom you never chose in the first place.

This is a un-fakeclaiming post.
How other systems present should not impact how valid you feel in your own systemhood.
It is great to share experiences as a community but they should never become a standard.
You are not fake for not experiencing something that is a daily occurrence in another system, nor are you fake if you do experience something that the other systems around you have never dealt with.
Please, remember that systems do not share everything they go through. That goes for both online and offline. Being a system and speaking about it is inherently incredibly vulnerable. Trauma is at the core of it, and we should all by now do our best to remember that trauma affects everybody differently.
Cherish what other systems deem worth sharing on such a public platform, but do not compare yourself to them.

[quote] "ur main personality is the most important" [end quote]
i immediately know u havent actually read any medical documents if u say this
not only that but u immediately out urself as ableist as fuck (also as an asshole)
1) the correct term is whatever the system is most comfortable with collectively (alter, part , headmate , etc) and "personality" is an outdated term not used medically today (and rarely if at all as a community label)
2) a host is not a "main" part, nor is a core (cores are debated to exist, i use this term to only represent the argument outdated ableists make about "cores"). each part is equal. there may be a hierarchy in place within a system, but it is not a way to say a part is "lesser" in terms of importance
3) like i mentioned in point 2, there is no main personality. this argument is used to demean any part that may not be a host (eg: a persecutor, gatekeeper, or other role)
4) you do not have a say on how other systems function, label or manage themselves and to project this idea on to every system ever is ableist and exclusionary. some systems may be comfortable with this view or interpretation, but that does not then apply to everyone.
educate urself before u assume ur right 👍🏻
