It's a Tempest! (Adjusting this somewhat, there's a thing off with the lighting but can't figure out what)

You know that moment when you're fighting a dangerous enemy at the end of the world, right? It's thrilling, probably epic or scary. Tempest was ready to meet the end, but before he even thought about going out, the old dragon was to atone for the horrific wrongdoings he had committed throughout the last several years. The Dark Master-- Malefor-- was nearly finished with his work. His armies were targeting the remaining cities and provinces, destroying all in their wake. Tempest knew he had to take down as many of these as he could before they took any more lives!

The world was breaking apart. Chaos had completely unfolded... It was the end for him, but... Did he do a good job...? At the end of this final fight with a powerful enemy, Tempest had gotten knocked out cold. He wasn't quite sure who or what broke his fall, but... He had felt the world grow quiet...

But it didn't. When the old dragon awoke, he heard the birds singing in the trees. The river from afar. The rays of light kissed his scales as he began to regain consciousness. He'd open his eyes, shaking from the current weakness throughout his body... But, eventually he was able to lift his head and look around. Confusion quickly set in as he saw the life around him. It definitely didn't look like this a few minutes ago! The old dragon gathers his bearings, eventually getting up onto his feet and starting to get around.

He was given a second chance. A new beginning. Tempest didn't deserve it, but... Perhaps he should take it and move on, though he could never live among his kin again.
