bitch this is all you’re gonna get. this life, this face, this body. you better not ‘maybe in another universe’ your way out of everything. sit your ass down and face this. go make tea and have a picnic and read a goddamn book. kiss your loved ones, send that damn text, and hug your siblings. this is all you’re gonna get.

A Day in the Life of a Grind Addict
Wassup y’all,
Ever had one of those days where it feels like the world is throwing everything at you—but instead of tapping out, you double down? Yeah, that was me yesterday. No breaks, no excuses, just straight hustle from sunrise to bedtime.
5:10 AM – No Room for Snooze Buttons
The alarm went off, and there was no time to question my life choices. I was up, dressed, and out the door before my brain even had a chance to process what was happening. The mission? Survive our Wednesday morning track workout.
Today’s test: The Ladder of Pain.
• 500, 700, 900, 1100, then back down with another 1100, all the way back to 500.
This wasn’t just about running; this was a full-body and mental beatdown. By the time we finished, my legs were screaming, my lungs were on fire, and I was questioning if breakfast was even worth the energy of chewing. Spoiler alert: it was.
7:40 AM – Scholar Mode Activated
After dragging myself back to the dorm, I had just enough time to somewhat look presentable before heading to the Learning Center to tutor. Ever tried explaining algebra while your body is still in shock? Not fun.
9:30 AM – The Student Grind
By the time my first class rolled around, I was fully locked in. From 9:30 AM to 12:20 PM, I was in full academic mode—notes, lectures, and trying not to fall asleep mid-sentence. After class, I grabbed lunch and hit the books again until 3 PM because, apparently, life doesn’t slow down just because your legs feel like jelly.
3:00 PM – Study Hall & Round Two
After a solid study session with the team, it was time for our afternoon double. A 30-minute run with two teammates, just shaking out the soreness. We kept it slow—because honestly, speed was not an option at this point.
5:00 PM – Back on the Clock
After running, I went straight back to tutoring. The grind never stops.
9:00 PM – Finally, a Breather
After all that, I finally made it back to my dorm, kicked back with my roommate, and watched Pitch Perfect (yes, elite cinema). By 10:30 PM, I was out.
Was I exhausted? Absolutely.
Would I do it all again tomorrow? No doubt.
Moral of the story: The grind doesn’t care how tired you are—you either show up or fall behind. And I don’t plan on falling behind.
Until next time, stay hungry.

Remember that the minute you take your first step into the life of your dreams, the first to greet you there will be fear.
